Bernard needs your help. 🥹 This beautiful 5 year old boy has been bounced around too much and is languishing in the shelter environment. Bernard found his way to us as a stray - while we can only suspect about his background, we believe him to have been an outdoor dog. He is a social butterfly and loves dogs and people alike, but because of his background he doesn't always know what "proper" doggie etiquette looks like! True to the husky breed, Bernard will get into mischief if he's left unattended. We HIGHLY encourage crate-training for this boy to not only keep him out of trouble, but also to help with his housebreaking. 🏠 When Bernard get's really excited, he sometimes forgets how big he is and can get mouthy and pushy so he needs a home with older kiddos (13+ please) but he's love a doggie playmate to get all his energy out. He has his particular friends who he prefers over others but I mean, who doesn’t? At 5 years old, Garret isn’t a hyper boy. He loves to lounge and watch the day go by but don’t let that fool you. Garret also loves a (short) albeit energetic game of fetch too! 🎾 We don’t know a lot about his history since he came to us as a stray but we suspect he is housebroken. He is non-destructive with his bedding and toys. He has shown interest in other dogs, but seems unsure of himself and would likely need a calm confident dog to show him the ropes. Meet Dora ❤ This little explorer found her way to us as a stray. Nervous and afraid, it took time for this gal to warm up to staff and find herself, but after months in shelter - Dora is hoping her stay with us is close to an end. At 4 years old, Dora is past all that crazy puppy behavior and is ready for chill adult life. She is active and loves walks and playtime in the yard - but she also appreciates a good chill and cuddle. Dora is reactive to other dogs, but has the potential to be OK with the right friend.
