Good morning!

Dr. Ball and I saw a breed that was new to us. It is recognized by the AKC and the UKC. He's a medium breed that is a link between the Shiba Inu and the Akita.

This is Kai. He's a Shikoku. His breed was used in Japan to hunt wild boar (according to Google on the UKC site).

He was very sweet and gentle, and I'm quite in love with this handsome fellow.
