🦃🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from your PNC family! 🍂🦃
As you gather around the table to enjoy this day of gratitude, don’t forget to keep your furry friends safe! Here’s a quick list of DOs and DON’Ts to remember when treating your pets this Thanksgiving. 🐾💛

✅ DO Feed Your Pets:

• Small amounts of plain turkey (no skin, bones, or seasoning)
• Sweet potatoes (plain, no butter or sugar)
• Green beans (steamed, no seasoning)
• Pumpkin (plain, canned or cooked)
• Apples (sliced, no seeds or core)

🚫 DON’T Feed Your Pets:

• Cooked bones (can splinter and cause injury)
• Turkey skin (fatty and seasoned—bad for digestion)
• Stuffing (contains onions, garlic, and spices toxic to pets)
• Gravy or buttery foods (too fatty for their systems)
• Mashed potatoes (if they include butter, cream, or garlic)
• Desserts (especially chocolate, raisins, or artificial sweeteners like xylitol)
• Alcohol or caffeine (toxic and dangerous)

Keep these tips in mind to ensure everyone, including your pets, has a safe and happy Thanksgiving! 🐕🐾🐾

This Veterans Day, North Valley Veterinary Center is proud to honor the brave men and women in our community who have served our country by supporting a cause close to our hearts. We’re launching a fundraising effort for our Veterans Pet Fund, a program dedicated to helping veteran pet owners cover essential medical expenses for their beloved pets. For several years, this fund has provided vital support to local veterans, ensuring their pets receive the care they need.

Our goal is to raise $2,500 by Friday, November 15th, so we can continue offering veterans and their loyal companions the medical support they deserve. Every donation will help provide treatments, wellness services, and other essential care, bringing comfort and companionship to those who served.

To show our gratitude, everyone who visits us in person to make a donation will receive a FREE Lucy Pet Treat Roll, generously provided by Pet Nutrition Center! Additionally, the Pet Nutrition Center is also offering a free Lucy Pet Treat with every donation made through their store. This added support means even more opportunities for our community to make a difference.

Attention: Purina Pro Plan Vet Care Diets are undergoing a packaging change, with sizes reducing from 30+ to 25lbs, but with no corresponding price adjustment. While this may not be ideal, these changes are set to take effect in April. However, for a limited time, regular-sized bags will still be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
