To you die hard turkey hunters, I have an older strutting turkey mount of one of my personal harvests that I need to do away with. But if you would like to use it as a decoy I will give it to you, but just save the spurs and the fan if isn’t destroyed when you get done with it. It has the longest spurs on anyone I’ve ever taken.

Well, it’s hard to believe that deer season is just over a month away. I am going to have some Velva-Lok velvet preservative on hand, so if you want to save some money from freeze-drying (which is what I still prefer), we can use this. I don’t have a lot of experience with it but I used it last year once and had good success with it. It is about 1/3 the cost of freeze-drying.

Also, I want all the capes of deer that you are not planning on mounting. I’ll give you $50 for each (does are limited). I also need the
head/s with skin on) of one that has a bad cape, to use for casting nose/mouth pieces please. Just keep me in mind when you harvest one. I don’t mind (if I’m available) to come to your place and cape it out!! Can’t beat that with a stick

Congratulations to Cloyd Bumgardner on this old bruiser black bear he took in Canada last season. Thanks to Kagan Webb for doing the woodwork for the base, it turned out pretty nice. He will be at the Pulaski County courthouse in Cloyd’s office there for a while before he takes him home
