What I do is Help Horses with their people. I work from where the horse is... From the Heart of things...

I Love the people that I meet along the way in clinics, demo's and during training. I love their horses and I love the change that we make with the rider and with the horse. All horses to me are special, all riders to me are special. You can tell a lot about a person when you spend 3 days tra

ining with them. You can learn why their horse does what it does fairly fast. This is not to say this is a bad thing at all. It's just something that a person can learn very quickly and it makes it easy for me to figure out what direction horse and rider need to go. The difference between me and every other trainer on the planet is this. I genuinely care about good ol' American values and I care about giving you and your horse more than you pay for. My favorite quote when it comes to horse training or people training is one I came up with myself. "This horse Ain't wearin' a Watch and neither am I"! This means that I always take the time it takes with you and your horse. I believe that there is nothing more important than giving you more than you paid for. Your horse is better for it if I try my best to keep that thought in mind.

Im looking to host a trail clinic this fall. I am looking for a facility here in central to Northern Ky towards the Louisville or Cincinnati area that has stalls and won't cost me an arm and a leg to rent.

Chris LeDoux got his first guitar in high school at the age of 15 and began performing songs while he was on the rodeo circuit to help cover his expenses. He recorded his first album in 1972 and even started his own recording company, American Cowboy Songs. LeDoux gained notoriety on the rodeo circuit by selling tapes of his songs out of his old pickup truck. LeDoux had recorded 22 albums before he was signed to Capitol Records in 1991 and released his first mainstream national album Western Underground.

Despite his success, LeDoux opted to stay in Wyoming rather than move to the heart of the music business in Nashville. His life in Wyoming kept him connected to the life he sang about and inspired his music. And in the end, LeDoux wouldn't want it any other way. He was a lifelong westerner and didn't see the need to change when he hit the big time.

The town of Kaycee, Wyoming created Chris LeDoux Park in honor of the town's favorite son. In the middle of the park is a statue of LeDoux, titled "Good Ride Cowboy."

His records might not stand anymore, but Larry Mahan, born Nov. 21, 1943, in Salem, Ore., definitely will go into rodeoโ€™s history books as one of the greatest cowboys of all time. Only 14 years old when he broke into professional rodeo, Mahan developed an individual talent for all three riding events โ€“ each requiring entirely different styles and skills โ€“ that has been matched by just a few in rodeo history. He used those skills to capture five consecutive world all-around titles from 1966-70, a record that was matched nearly a decade later by Tom Ferguson but not surpassed until 1994 by Ty Murray. Mahan, who claimed world bull riding titles in the 1960s, came back to take a then-record sixth world all-around title in 1973, another mark broken by Murray in 1998. Maturity, both as a contestant and as an individual, saw Mahan overcome his natural shyness to become the best living advertisement in the history of professional rodeo: personable and articulate, with a recognizable, respected and identifiable name.
