We received an update from Toys for Tots - Lancaster. They are still short on toys for this year. Remember, you may drop off toys at our station until December 20th! They are asking for:

Toys for Tots - Lancaster, PA
skateboards, legos, cosmetic kits, scooters, sports equipment, weighed stuffed animals, nice water bottles, squishmallows, hair care (blow dryers, curling irons), baking things, art kits, book sets, heavy plush blankets with patterns, speakers, headphones, bead making kits, (Costco has great ones), think Stem, camping gear went, fishing poles, hammocks, cool flashlights or pocket knives (the parents get to choose them), sleeping bags, tents, headlamps, nice backpacks

K9 RUCK AND THE 3rd PLATOON ARE GETTING INTO THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT!! CAN YOU LEND A HAND??

Members of the MTPD 3rd platoon purchased and personally filled SIX boxes of toys for the local Marine Corps Toys for Tots toy drive.

We are still looking for some help to fill a few empty boxes we have at our station! That’s where YOU come in!

Since today is Black Friday, we know there will be great deals on toys! Please consider buying and donating a new unwrapped toy at our station.

We will be accepting donations through 12/20/24. Thank you!

Our hearts and prayers go out to those in Newport Commons, Lititz affected by the fire this morning. Through the years we have had clients who live in that community. We believe they are all ok but this is devastating for the community. (Photo credit to our pet sitter Deb who lives close by and went to the area this am)

Many of you might not know that Chris and I own a home in the Smokies. While our home only had minor flooding in our firepit and pond (which combined with Douglas Lake due to flooding), 45 minutes away, whole towns were wiped out due to hurricane Helene.
Please keep Tennessee and North Carolina in your thoughts and prayers and all of the people and animals affected.
