We polled our patients about wishes for their humans in the new year. The top five answers for both cats and dogs are listed below (but in no particular order).

🐱Your cats said ... 🐱
- May your online shopping habits continue into the new year. (If I fits, I sits. Also, I am the master of cardboard box fort construction.)
- May your schedules revolve around my mealtimes, and may the food bowl always be full of the finest kibble. (By the way, it’s empty now.)
- May your days and nights be filled with the sounds of me clearing the hairball from my throat. (You know you’re glad I got it out and am ok once again. Also, that family blanket that Grandma knitted needs to be washed.)
- May your houseplants thrive... just kidding! (May they provide me with endless opportunities to bat at leaves and dig in the dirt.)

- More. Belly. Rubs. Period.
- May our walks be long and adventurous, with plenty of critters to chase and interesting smells to sniff. (Hold on, though. I need to mark that spot for the way back…)
