We are excited to welcome Dr. Brianna Aquino-Moreta to the Animal Health Center of Land O’ Lakes family!! Please help us give her a warm welcome!!

Dr. Brianna Aquino-Moreta was born in New Jersey but has been living in Tampa since she was 8 years old. Ever since she was a little girl, she remembers wanting to care for sick animals. She would get in trouble by her mom for bringing home animals she wanted to care for. Dr. Bri knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since the 7th grade and has since worked towards that dream. She attended the University of South Florida where she obtained a Bachelors in Integrative Animal Science with a minor in French. Dr. Bri then attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and completed her clinical rotations at Louisiana State University. During her vet school career, she also completed her acupuncture certification with Chi University.

Dr. Bri is proficient in all aspects of veterinary medicine-from surgery to internal medicine to acupuncture-she loves learning new ways to treat and help all pets. Though dogs and horses have a special place in her heart, Dr. Bri enjoys working with all kinds of animals and will always try to help them with the best of her abilities. Dr. Bri is fluent in Spanish due to her Dominican culture but is also proficient in French.

During her free time, Dr. Bri loves to travel, read a good thriller while eating warm chocolate chip cookies, and spending time with friends and family.
