Veterinary CT Case of the day: A one-and-a-half-year-old rabbit was referred to an exotic veterinary specialty practice for mandibular swelling on the left side. An abscess was noted on the left side of the chin in PE.
The rDVM had previously extracted the lower left incisor 2 months previous to this appointment. Swelling has not resolved since. Patient continues to eat and maintain its weight.
The specialist used their Vimago HDVI CT and decided to scan the patient for a better look in 3D.
