Update on "Minka"
​Minka is thriving and making wonderful progress. She is proving to be almost fully housebroken, and she even barks to let us know she needs a potty break. She is now comfortable taking care of business in the yard off-leash ( within a fence of course)before coming straight back in.
​Today we needed to crate her for a short time and she entered her crate easily when we needed her to, and later, she felt secure enough to go inside and lay down on her own. We are also thrilled that her tail is no longer tucked completely underneath her and the most exciting thing was she gave me a small kiss tonight!

🎉 VICTORY! She is SAFE! 🎉
We have the most heartwarming news to share: Our girl is officially safe and sound!
This was a true community success story. We owe a massive thank you to everyone who played a part:
* A huge shout-out to Luci Neal for her tireless efforts and assistance and use of her trapping equipment.
* To the kind family who first alerted us to her suffering—your vigilance saved a life.
* And to all of you who followed her story and sent endless prayers and good energy—your support means everything.
This rescue simply would not have been possible without this incredible team!
She is now resting comfortably at Pet Tender Angels where she will receive the medical attention and care she deserves. We're celebrating this massive win!

SAFE AND SECURE. SEE UPDATE POST
Update 11/7/25: We Need Your Good Vibes!
We have a tough but crucial update on our little guy. The chilly nights are keeping him hunkered down, and he's not venturing out until closer to 10:00 AM, making our trapping window narrow!
He is proving to be incredibly smart and wary of our small traps, which means it's time to bring in the heavy hitters!
We are setting up the "Missy Trap" (a huge thank you again to Luci Neal for her amazing help and equipment!). This bigger setup gives us the best shot at safely securing him.
He is definitely looking weak, and we now strongly suspect he might be dealing with sight issues in addition to being cold and hungry.
Please send all your positive thoughts and prayers our way! 🙏 We are praying we can get him safely secured and into care by this evening.

Need some PRAYERS for this poor dog. PTA set a trap and cameras going in this evening(thank you Luci Neal ). Afraid he/she will not make it with the temps dropping next week. Poor pup is already weak and stumbling.

We are heartbroken that this deserving dog is not receiving any adoption inquiries. Lucky's time at the shelter has been too long, and she needs a comfortable home, not a kennel. Please help us get her seen! Every share makes a difference in getting them one step closer to their forever family.

"I'm a sweet, energetic dog, born around December 2021. My first year was tough, but thankfully, my puppies were rescued. I'm a little shy at first, likely because of my early experiences, but I warm up quickly. I love people and enjoy being petted, just please approach me gently. I'm not aggressive at all, just a bit cautious. I have lots of love and loyalty to offer! I do well with calm, respectful kids, but I'd thrive in a home with adults or older, gentle children, where I can feel secure. A yard is a must for my energy, but I need to be included – I don't want to be left alone outside. I'm not an escape artist; I just crave companionship. I'm a big cuddler and love being by my person's side, even in public. After 2.5 years at the shelter, everyone agrees it's my turn to find my forever home. Could you be the loving family I've been waiting for?"
