Before Rey Rey's injury (4 weeks ago), when I would start fixing everybody's food, he would pull himself from where ever he was to get right behind me and wait for his food. He hasn't been feeling up to doing that since the injury.

Look who greeted me from behind this afternoon. And since he ate he has been sitting up on his own longer than he has in a while. This is pretty significant! Can't wait to see Dr. Kopp at Kopp Animal Chiropractic tomorrow for an adjustment! You can do this Rey

Update on Rey Rey....sorry for the delay. After talking to Dr. Kopp that same day, we figured out that Rey had proabably injured himself from a flop of his body while playing with Mikey. Dr. Kopp squeezed him right in to start some healing. So now some days are good, some days are bad ( which is an improvement) Kristine Kopp ❤️ at Kopp Animal Chiropractic has to keep reminding me to stay stay positive and give the injury time to heal. Rey's happiness and quality of life is all that matters in this situation and sometimes I quickly question what I am doing. I promised him as long as he fights, I will not give up on him. I have to be willing to give him some healing time. Thank you Kopp for reminding me of that. Please continue the prayers for healing and strength for this precious soul. I love him so much!

For a couple of years, we struggled with erosion and flooding in two of our main play areas, making it nearly unusable during heavy rains. The muddy conditions made cleaning difficult and created a miserable environment for both dogs and staff. After over a year of searching, we finally found a reliable team to tackle the project. UPDATE: Due to human illness, the dogs will not be there, but still come out and support a great cause!!

Just letting everyone know that all the pups and I survived without harm and that's the important thing. The inconvenience this storm brought has confirmed that we have a wonderful support team. Can't thank the PTA family more for showing up once again to keep the pups happy. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has suffered.

Update: ER thinks she is doing well enough to come home today. Will pick her up at 2:30. Thanks for all the prayers!

Update: They did end up giving her the Anti-Venom because the skin around the wounds was already dying. She's not showing any other symptoms except for pain and are sending her home with a prescription for a strong pain medicine. The Anti-Venom shot can cause anaphylaxis so they need to watch her for about an hour and wanted to keep her overnight but since they all leave at 5:30, I insisted bringing her home tonight and I will put her in a crate in my house so that I can keep a close eye on her. please continue prayers

Update: Blood work looked good so they will sedate and clean up her wounds, start her on steroids and pain meds. Thanks everyone.

We are at the vet with Buttercup ...she tangled with a copperhead snake and got bit twice in the face. Will know later how she is doing. She is one of our sanctuary senior dogs. She was feral when we took her in 10 years ago. She was never adopted because of her fear of people she doesn't know. She is very loved by all the staff and volunteers so we ask for your prayers she will pull through. 😪

Update: Ended up taking Butter to the ER for overnight observation. I didn't like the way she was breathing. Will update in the morning. Thanks everyone
