So Bodhi, Pops. Wicket are now a good established pack. Pops in charge , which is a real role change for him from when we first got him. And Bodhi is now compatible with rough play that they very much enjoy each other and the reduction of stress trying yo be the tough one. Wicket is still thr instigator. This is Finn. He visited us this morning. Only put of the pound for a few weeks you can see he's already a much happier #luncher awesomely smart and his family is working very hard for him. It's always great to see folks who see the potential in a #rescuedog and do the work it takes from the beginning. Today he made some big leaps in lead work understanding that you get affection when you are calm and not when you are hyper. Give it uo to Finn. He deserves it. #rescuedog #happydog #dogtraining

Caption: Our little Wicket gave us a scare today! He decided to jump out in front of the big boys, Pops and Bodhi, as they came running down the stairs. A loud squeal and suddenly he was a running tripod. We rushed him into Greylock Animal Hospital for an x-ray, and while they were stretching his leg, his knee popped back into place—almost as good as new! Best part? Nothing broken, no fractures, just a bit sore for a few days on carprofen. He’s one tough little you-know-what—must be that Jack Russell grit! Shoutout to the amazing team at Greylock Animal Hospital for taking such great care of our boy. Today we met Finn and Bridget . Finn is just out of the pound which was the only home he'd ever known. It was cold enough today that we worked in the big room and he was great. My bet is that he's a Lurcher with a lot if Brittany Spaniel but in any case. He is one smart dog. He's going to do really well once he learns how to be a dog. Bodhi, my #rescue #ChesapeakeBayRetriever had his second appointment at the vets. Blood draw and Lime shot. He was much better than last time but still took a lot of prep and three bodies. But when the blood draw and shot was over. He was as happy boy and wanted to say hello to Dr. Mattson. #awesomejob Bodhi. Time for an egg sandwich from #tunnelcoffee Good News. No heart worm Interesting news. Was posititive and limes and something else. So was Pops this year even though both are protected. Well. A little doxycycline for a month and should be right as rain. And. Might be a reason he has some anxiety. Though this past two weeks he's shown vast improvement. I knew he'd be a work in progress. And he is just that and doing really well.

**Meet George and Sherlock.** This is a heartwarming story of resilience, dedication, and second chances. Sherlock, who we believe is a #Sheepadoodle or another herding breed mix, was first rescued by George. However, Sherlock’s behavioral challenges became overwhelming, and George made the difficult decision to return him. Months passed, and when no one else came forward to adopt Sherlock, George decided to give him another chance. He rescued him again and committed to finding the help they needed to thrive. It’s been an absolute honor to work with them. During our second session, the transformation was already incredible. The first time we met, Sherlock was all growls, bared teeth, and stress, and I kept thinking I should’ve worn more protective gear. Today? A completely different dog. When I called his name, Sherlock not only looked at me willingly—without tension or confrontation—but also wagged his tail and lay down off his hip. That posture, so relaxed and confident, is exactly what I look for in a happy dog. It was like he was saying, “I’ve got this.” We took things further, working on leash manners and impulse control. Sherlock even met my chickens in the #ChickenTractor. At first, it was thrilling for him, but he quickly learned to calm down, greet Janice the chicken politely, and realize that pulling and lunging weren’t the answer. By the end of the session, we were walking in the field with a long leash. Sherlock zoomed around, checked in with George, and truly looked like a happy, carefree dog. But the real hero here is George. His patience, dedication, and determination to give Sherlock the life he deserves are nothing short of inspiring. George is proof that there are truly awesome humans in the world. He is very high on my list.
