So excited to welcome this beautiful Bemer PEMF blanket to Quiet Hands Equine and Canine Massage selection of modalities. We now have the large Centurion and 2 Bemers...possible rental options may be coming down the pipeline.
Meet Calypso, a beautiful mare who experienced a triceps tendon tear just over a year ago. She is not yet the ideal candidate for massage, as she is compensatorially tight all over and very sensitive. Thanks to the Centurion PEMF blanket, Calypso enjoyed a full body treatment, and seemed to approve!
Thank you to Diana Olds, owner of Broken Arrow Ranch , for capturing her reaction on camera!
Calypso is in the holiday spirit and is rocking out with Quiet Hands Equine and Canine Massage 's PEMF blanket.
Seeing my patients moving with more ease and less pain is why I do what I do.
Chevy, from Allaire Community Farm released multiple times during his bodywork session. During his massage, he would stretch his neck and quiver his bottom lip; however, during his cold laser treatment (LLLT), he gave full, big yawns and even a full body shake.
The quivering lips get me every time. Lip quivering, movement, licking, chewing, shaking the head or a full body shake, yawning and big, cleansing sighs are all signs of release during a massage or bodywork. This indicates the horse is relaxing and the muscles are following suit.
King and Chevy both released multiple times during their bodywork; King during his massage session and Chevy during his laser session, especially during treatment of his biceps and pectoral muscles.
Release is relaxation.
