ocedures, and routine, as well as, advanced surgical procedures. X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopic procedures enable us to provide in-depth diagnostics. We use the latest and safest anesthetics and delivery systems and provide comprehensive anesthetic monitoring for every patient. NOTE: We are closed on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2-3:30 pm for our staff meeting.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed donations. This morning, Ashlee, Steph, Rachel, McKenna, and friends, Dominic and Megan took the train to Center City to distribute an abundance of care packages to those in need.

It is truly inspiring to see the compassion that Ashlee has fostered and included NPAH in over the past two years This beautiful tradition has not only made a difference for those in need but has also brought the entire NPAH team together in a meaningful way— from donating items for the packages to participating in the distribution effort. We are incredibly proud of all of you for your kindness and dedication! We also extend our thanks to our wonderful clients for their generosity and support!

Thanksgiving Pet Safety Tips from Grace Kelly and Heidi Klum! 🦃

Some Thanksgiving foods can pose hazards to pets. Follow these tips to keep your pets healthy and safe during the holiday. 👇

Keep the following items away from your pets:

🍗Turkey (seasoned), turkey skin & bones
🥣Gravy or other fatty foods
🧅Onions & Garlic
🌽Corn on the cob
🍞Raw bread dough
🍫Chocolate
🍇Grapes & raisins
🌰Nuts: Macadamia and Black walnuts are toxic and others can cause digestive problems (peanuts are ok).
🥧Sweets
🍬Artificial sweetener (Xylitol)
🍷Alcohol

Also, keep pets away from decorations such as lit candles, floral arrangements (especially lilies, which can be fatal to cats), and trash cans.

It's that time of year! 🐾 Pet Photos with Santa, with an addition this year. Santa is bringing Mrs. Claus with him! That's right! Mrs. Claus will be with us. 🙀

But, there's a secret about who they are, so don't tell! You can find the secret in the pictures. Shhhh! 🎅🤶

We are also having a Bake Sale (homemade by our NPAH bakers!).

We want to thank you, Veterans, for your service. We are grateful for your courage and commitment.

We want to thank our own Dr. John Maxwell, who served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army.

"I was assigned to a Civil Affairs Battalion (416th CA BN). I provided limited care for military working dogs, but my primary mission was supporting civil-military operations. The goal of a civil affairs unit was to establish conditions for a peaceful transition to a civilian government at the end of an armed conflict.

My significant accomplishments included: helping the local veterinary college establish a comprehensive library, setting up a soil testing lab for the Ministry of Agriculture, securing drought-resistant wheat cultivars donated from Texas A&M, and launching a public health campaign to prevent Brucellosis."

Ashlee, one of our Client Care Coordinators, has been collecting food and delivering it on Thanksgiving Day to those living in encampments in Philly for years. She goes on the train with a few backpacks! Steph, one of our Room Technicians, joined her last year (in the pouring rain), and this year, a few more NPAHers will be joining in. There is a collection bin in our Dog side lobby if you would like to donate. Please see Ashlee's suggested donation list below. We really appreciate any help you can provide. 🫶
