ocedures, and routine, as well as, advanced surgical procedures. X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopic procedures enable us to provide in-depth diagnostics. We use the latest and safest anesthetics and delivery systems and provide comprehensive anesthetic monitoring for every patient. NOTE: We are closed on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 2-3:30 pm for our staff meeting.

Dinosaurs require special medical care. 🦖 🩺

Seriously. They do. Do you have any idea how difficult a T Rex has it? 🤔

Caleb knew, and he brought Junior in for an appointment with Dr. Rosignoli. (She's our dinosaur expert. 🧐)

We are happy to report after a thorough exam, Dr. Rosignoli told Caleb that Junior was in good health and to keep taking wonderful care of him. 🌟

🎆 Fact: More pets go missing on July 4th and July 5th than any other time of the year.

🐕 Walk your pet early before the festivities begin.

🏠 Keep doors closed and keep your pets inside in a quiet area.

📺 Turn on a TV or radio to block out the sound.

✔ Check that their Microchip is registered and has up-to-date contact information.

🔎 Make sure they are wearing a snug collar with an ID tag that is clearly visible.

📷 Take a current photo of your pet, just in case.

🚫 Keep them away from alcohol, table scraps, fireworks, sparklers, and glow sticks.

💊 Refill your pet's anti-anxiety medication before July 4th, or call and talk to us for recommendations.

July 4th can be safe for your pet and fun for you with a bit of planning beforehand. 🎉🐾♥

Thank you to everyone who has donated. We were able to drop off 120 lbs. to Manna two weeks ago!

🎉 Our goal is another 120 lbs. or more by the end of the day, next Tuesday. 💪⚖

🔥HOT! HOT! HOT!🔥

⚠️ It will be dangerously hot through Wednesday. It is essential to protect your pets during the heat wave.

🚗 Never leave your pet in the car. Even during mild days, the temperature in your car can be 20 degrees higher, even in the shade.

💦 Provide your pet with plenty of fresh water to keep them hydrated. Refill often throughout the day.

🥵 Stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day. Morning walks or evening walks are best.

🐾 Walk your pet on the grass. Sidewalks, especially those made of blacktop, heat up and can burn their pads. Press your palm on the sidewalk for 5 seconds. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws.

Heatstroke can be fatal if not treated quickly. Older dogs and dogs with shorter noses are at a higher risk.
Signs of heatstroke include:

✔️Panting
✔️Vomiting
✔️Excessive drooling
✔️Warm and dry skin
✔️Rapid heartbeat
✔️Staring or anxious expressions
✔️Uncoordinated movements or collapse

If your pet is exhibiting signs of heatstroke, call us immediately at 215-855-5853.

Here at NPAH, we participate in school programs that help mentor students and support their growth. Mia joined our team as an intern last November while attending Methacton High School and studying Animal Science at Chester County Technical College. As part of her technical school, she was required to complete 60 hours of industry shadowing. 🐾

We are happy to welcome Mia back, who is attending the University of New Hampshire as she continues her studies in Animal Science. She will be working with us for three weeks as part of her internship, during which she will learn various skills. 🐈🐕🩺🔬
