With summer here, we have been asked a lot if we are still swimming horses and the answer is, we are! We’ve had rehab cases come in and show horses and rodeo horses needing a mental break lately! Spaces are limited right now as we have been busy with training horses and getting personal horses out to shows and jackpots.
If interested in swimming, pm us and we can get something scheduled!
If your horse hasn’t swam before, we do require a minimum of a 2 week stay so you can see the benefits as the first few swims are training them on the AquaPacer.
*haul ins are very limited
When you have an AMAZING team that is willing to work together to do what is best for the horse, great results often follow!
This guy came to me back in February to swim. He was diagnosed with navicular and the farrier has been doing corrective shoeing. Seeing him move out on day 1, I was hesitant. I pulled the team together to see what the best plan of action for this guy would be. I decided to do 3 swims a week so we didn’t set him up to go backwards with the progression he has made. Every other day I was taking videos and sending to the team as my goal was to help build some muscle up to help the over compensations going on.
Now this handsome guy is back for another month of swimming, we are only 2 swims in and look at him move out!!
When a team works together and the owners are willing to advocate and do the homework at home, we are setting these horses up for success! ❤️
Stay tuned to see where this guy is at at the end of this round of swimming!! ❤️❤️
This fella was in last fall for a few stays so knowing his history, I knew that right hip was an issue and carrying himself in a straight, correct line was tough for him. The owners do chiropractic maintenance to help him keep it in but it’s weak. Knowing this, I used my tools and added the Pro Six to his swimming routine along with daily stretching and look at that change! Is it perfect? Nope but we are on the right path of changing his muscle memory to help fix an imbalance as the owners are willing to continue on helping this fella out at home with their own ProSix!
What is the ProSix?
“ProSix builds strength through isometric and concentric exercise with the gentle resistance of the elastic framing the whole body.
• Proactively for creating balance, alignment, rhythm, strength, straightness, and calmness.
ProSix connects the whole horse, stimulating proprioception, sometimes referred to as the sixth sense, creating whole body awareness and extending to all four limbs.
The ProSix surrounds with gentle deep touch pressure which can relieve stress and anxiety.
ProSix encourages correct posture with strategically placed support; improving balance, straightness, and rhythm, with more even weight distribution between all four legs.
To enhance length of stride, and engage hindquarters.
• To train in proper alignment and correct posture.
• To improve balanced, equal weight distribution between all four limbs.
• To build core strength, strong abdominal muscles, and create a strong, soft, supple back.
• As a diagnostic tool. ProSix highlights areas of injury by discouraging compensation.”
This guy will be ready for the Jr High Rodeo season and jackpots that’s start here soon!
When the Respond Blanket is out, jealousy strikes hard here when it’s not your turn to wear it! #Respondsystem #pemftherapy
Sharing is caring around here!!
Hanc doesn’t like to share the good vibes all the time, honestly most of the time if he has a therapy, he wants to be left alone and in his corner, but when he knows a horse will benefit from his therapies, he will share ❤️
Respond PEMF blanket for the win!
When I’m working with the horses, I’m always watching for signs of a release coming. Lots of horses will hide their releases or they want to send it back to the person working with them or their owner. You’ll often times see me step away from the horse as I finish working on a spot, this gives them time to process by themselves to get that release, and they can’t send it back to me. Sometimes it’s a quick release, sometimes I can see quivering in their nose along with other signs that I tells me everything is processing and to not jump back in and get back to work just yet.
Does it sometimes take longer to work on a horse, yup but I never want to make them feel rushed and that they have to hold stuff in.
Horses are healing animals and want to share everything they can! ❤️

Did you know, we can swim ALL sizes of horses in the Aqua Pacer?! 💦💦
Poppy is our first mini guest that is jumping ahead of the fitness game for 2024 and she is soaking in all her spa day services! Poppy isn’t just a mini getting fit for kids, Poppy is getting fit so she can start hitting the show trail again with her owner in hopes of hitting the Pinto World Show again!
“Poppy’s names is Silverleaf DK Ricochet Fine N Fancy. She is a Pinto World Champion in Open Trail In Hand (A Miniatures-all ages) and with being a yearling and the youngest horse in her class. She has won several Jr Mare Halter Champions in AMHA & AMHR. Her sire is Tibbs Tango All Decked Out who is a multiple AMHR Reserve National Champion. Poppy will be preparing to show in driving and hunter over fences futurities at the AMHA World Show in Sept. She is 34” tall.“ 🏆
Poppy isn’t over weight but a common thing with ponies and minis is the dreaded L word (laminitis) because they are overweight which then leads to other issues. If you have a mini, pony, or even a full size horse that is overweight and you are scared about laminitis setting in, we would love to help your horse get a kickstart on their diet plan to help them get back on the right track fitness wise!
Make sure to follow along to see Poppy’s progress pictures!
