On Betty Whites 100th birthday, January 17th, pick a local rescue or animal shelter in your area and donate $5 in Betty White’s name. Make her 100th birthday the movement she deserves.

Betty White was one of my biggest loves. Her selflessness and love for animals is and always has been one of my goals. One of the reason Ratny Rescue is up and running. The world lost one of the best of the best. Please donate!! Even if its equipment or something to help else. Every little bit helps. There are tons little rescues that rely on donations and help. Other wise it all comes from our pockets.

There is a special need and a special love that it takes to be a rescue. It is hard some days. Heart shattering others. But most there is a joy of knowing this baby is safe. And then there's moments like this.

Simba, he is one of the most cuddly breadies i have ever meet and he is just breath taking. He is amazing and so sweet. It makes this worth it. Makes me know i am doing what i need to be doing.

Were sitting here at the vet. Waiting for a couple of our babies to be seen. I cant wait to find out how to help them. Two of them had stole my heart hook line and sinker. I cant wait until the look healthy and beautiful again.

This is Rico. He is the sweetest saddest looking boy in the world. I am so in love with him. I cant wait to see you healthy my boy. I love you already.

Were looking for some help again. We got a couple different animals in with nothing and two that need lights. If there Is anyway that you might be able to help please do so. We have three breadies that are going to the vet monday morning so we were a little tight. Any help would be so thankful!!!!

Getting animal that isnt friendly. It not used to people and will flare up and nip at you when you go to touch them. Then this. This is Queen Bee. My Queenie Pop. She was so terrified of anyone who looked at her. Where i got her from didnt even name her. Hit her box on the door carrier her out. I didnt get anything with her but her in a box. And with love and not scared of a little blood and bite here we are. My girl. Were at a family gathering with crazy kids loud music people and noise. She is snuggled close and sleeping. I cant let you how proud I am. I love you my Queenie

This is the reason we do this. Them babies have no voice. We are the voice for them. Keeping them safe. Giving them a home until someone else decides to adopt them or they will be my forever babies. Some days its the hardest days of my life seeing the shape of these babies. But other days its the most rewarding seeing them learn to trust again. To love. Its amazing. We love what we do.

Well dinner was crazy last night. All 8 breadies got an amazing buggy salad. Chins got their food and special hay. Rats got scraps food dinner making. Moo got treats too. Odin and Momma danced and enjoy our cuddles while we got everything together. We got some spoiled babies.

Soooooo growing up I was and still am a die hard Disney fan. But I realized now Disney got my whole world shaped. Three of my favorite movies growing up were Tarzan, Lady and the Tramp, and 101 Dalmations.

Tarzan "I am your momma now!"

Lady and Tramp dogs are kids and they all need love.

101 having over 100 animals is normal work but nothing wrong with it.

Fast forward 28 years. Hi were Ratny Rescue! I mother and take in everything. All the babies need loves even if that bite me. I still love you lets trying this again. We have too many animals. "Hey i have this animals i cant care for any longer." "Hi baby I am your momma now."

Sooooo long story thank you Disney for installing this in me. And ill save all the babies!

I love saving animals that else wise had no where else to go. Rescue is a way of life. Making something that didnt fill love feel more love then they can handle it an amazing feeling. Rescued is the best

I am sitting working in my little office in the living room where all of the animals are. Listening to the Piggies squeak the rats move and drink the chins jumping around the birds talk to me. This is what my life was meant to be. I love all these babies that didnt have a home until here. You all are so loved. I love the noise and the talks. It makes me feel whole.

We took in another breath taking breadie. We have started calling him Echo. He is learning to trust again. The woman that gave him to us her and her fiance got him knocking on deaths door. He is still super skin. But he is beautiful. Momma is in love. He relaxed on my leg and cheat while i crocheted last night. He is amazing!!

This is Our now second forever dragon. This is Clover. She is a leatherback. She is the sweetest loving little lady. I am in love with her and Rapart. They are amazing. Here's to the momma of dragons lol

There are some rescues that take pieces of youre heart with them. We just took in about 50 rats that were in has horrible shape when they were dropped off we lost a lot the first night they came to us. They were so nasty and starved that i cried. I cant explain how that kills me. What we have left we have got to start putting on weight and looking a little more lively but were not out of the woods.

Breeding isnt for everyone. It takes time and money. Food and water. Love and care. If you cant make time for 2 of them...... How and why are you going to breed them and end up for 30 plus babies and the make it eight weeks of life knowing nothing but hunger and terrified of the hooman coming to the cage. Rats. Man rats only have a life span of 2 to 3 years. Love them. I am really torn up about this one. I have gotten rescues that didnt make it after coming to us but these were 90% babies. Little babies.

Cuddle youre babies a little closer tonight.

Just took a trip to Detroit to grab a beautiful Tegu. Well see how this all plays out. Lol she's a runner. Itll be some work before she is able to be rehomed. But i cant wait to cuddle her

Up for adoption!!!!

These four girls. We have had them for a while. Thet are so sweet. Two are Siamese one of them being dumbo and she is the softest the other is a top ear. And thr other and black and both are dumbo. I would really really love the four of them to stay together. But can split up.

We got in a vieled chameleon. He is the most breath taking baby. Wow he is beautiful. But with all beauty. There is the sassy ass. His name is Monster for now.

We have some time to work with him. I want to break him of his sassy assness. So he isnt up for adoption yet but will keep everyone up dated. But come on now tell me how beautiful he is.

We went on a rescue to grab some babies and my Lima girl went with me. 3 hour car ride and she maximum relaxed with me. I just love her to pieces

We have 30 new rats up for adoption. There are some huge beautiful males. Some breathtaking females. They are sweet need a little more handling but amazing babies.

We are a non profit based out of Lansing Michigan. We are a small animal rescue. We take in almost anything but cats and dogs. We rehabilitate, nurse, and love all the critters we get in. We are animals lovers to a T. We find more joy in finding animals loving prefect homes for them.
