Really excited to have Merle successfully back in the Rattery after 4+ years! This line also brought in standard size Velveteen again as well as surprise Satin2, Harley, and Dwarf! This line appears to be all AM mink based and has Russian Blue as well.

I'll be working to cross merle into my UK mink lines and Velvet line over the next year!

Loving this litters colors and coats! Crossed my UK Pearl dwarf buck, Flan to my Black Double Rex doe, Hyacinth, for some dwarf-carrying rex babies! Some of these will be held back to work into my dwarf line!

Sometimes you're 15/15 for the exact same color on all rats in the litter 😬 with a few Berkshire and a bunch of girls at least!

I was really hoping for a few pearl like dad, but to have 0 pearl and 0 recessives (like no dove, marten, etc) is nuts! All babies are UK mink!

Satin2/Lustrous (I believe the Russian Silver is Harley Lustrous given the mohawk) moulting is always so interesting! The pure Harley kids look like plucked chickens right now, but these guys are so shiny and dense.
