Effective March 1st, 2025 we will be reluctantly modifying some of our boarding/daycare rates and policies. We must do this as a small business to keep up with the minimum wage increase and Earned Sick Time Act.
For those who may not be aware, minimum wage will be increasing from $10.56/hour to $12.48/hour. In addition, all businesses with over 10 employees will be required to pay employees (part time & full time) 1 hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours worked. Employees can accrue and use up to 72 hours of earned paid sick time. Unused hours will carry over into the next year. We usually have between 16-18 employees.
So believe us when we say, these changes are not personal and they’re not about greed. They are to keep our small business running so that we can continue to do what we love and serve this amazing community.
Effective March 1st:
Daycare: $26 per dog per day (currently $23 per day)
Over night boarding 1 dog: $48 per night (currently $45 per night)
Over night boarding 2 dogs in the same suite: $86 per night (currently $80 per night)
Over night boarding 3 dogs in same suite: $114 per night (currently $105 per night)
Each additional dog in same suite: $25
Cat boarding: $26 per night (currently $25 per night)
Maintenance Fee: mandatory fee of $3 per pet (currently $2), per stay. This fee covers the wear and tear on our equipment including but not limited to beds, bowls, bedding, slipleads, sliding doors, outdoor play items, etc.
$3 per pet for duration of stay
$1 a day for daycare pets ($3 maximum per week)
20 minute off premise walks: $16 per walk per dog (currently $16 per walk per dog for 30 minutes)
Administration of medication (new policy): $2 per day per dog with OVER 2 medications/supplements. This includes medications already put in the food bag, medications in pill organizers, liquid supplements, powder supplements, any and all medication/supplements. Any “as needed” medications may or may not count at the discretion of Wag’n Tails Pet Resort.
Holiday Boarding Charge (new policy): For the holidays that we pay our staff time and a half to work, there will be an additional “Holiday Board Fee” of $10 per dog for ONLY the night of the holiday. The following holidays are paid time and a half and will be subject to the charge:
New Years Day
Easter Sunday
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas Day

We've got not one, but two special birthdays today! Basil Hayden, you sweet and crazy girl. We love your antics and that you never turn down b***y rubs!
Lennon, you silly and wild man! You are happy all the time and your wagging tail is the only thing holding you back from having the perfect "sit."
We adore both of these kiddos so much!
