I received a gift from the son of a sweet cat care client. Jeanne, that passed away at 89 years of age in March, drove from the west side of Lansing to Holt to Frandor and back the week she ended up having a heart attack. She was begging me to let her do something to help me from my neck surgery that I had. So she drove me to go and help out one of the elderly cats that I take care of. He told me, “she REALLY loved you.”

Simcha is a cat we fostered 14 years ago when he was a kitten! He is now receiving subcutaneous fluids under his skin to help with his kidney disease. I am doing biweekly visits to help keep him feeling good. His wonderful momma, Sue, said he’s even started having the zoomies again! Amazing how hydration support can make you feel better!

I hadn’t heard from one of my senior clients that I’ve trimmed cat nails for in awhile. Just saw she passed away in April. She always tried to build my client base at her assisted living facility. Rest in peace my friend. I’m sure her beloved cat, Coco, was at the bridge to greet her.
