Side Eyed Simcha in to wish you all a Happy New Year! This fella started out as a baby kitten foster at my house about 14 years ago and I've been a part of his health care team this past year to help manage his kidney disease. He hisses and growls at me when I come to give him his fluids, but I know it's out of love. He's still doing well and able to do the things he enjoys- eat, sleep and race around the house.

I received a gift from the son of a sweet cat care client. Jeanne, that passed away at 89 years of age in March, drove from the west side of Lansing to Holt to Frandor and back the week she ended up having a heart attack. She was begging me to let her do something to help me from my neck surgery that I had. So she drove me to go and help out one of the elderly cats that I take care of. He told me, “she REALLY loved you.”
