It’s that time of year again! Our annual donation drive for Lapeer County Animal Control! Now more than ever, with so many mouths to feed, let’s get them stocked up on much needed supplies!

We’ve placed boxes at some of your favorite local businesses for your convenience. If you may already be visiting these locations, please consider bringing requested items along with you for donation.

We have some really exciting news…

Our original donor who was already committed to making a directed donation match offer of 20k was so moved by our excitement and the engagement our campaign brought that they elected to not only donate the 20k but also match it themselves. 😍

That’s over $40,000 we will now have to complete the project.

This project includes moving the outdoor runs to higher ground, ground prep, substrate, more runs, and a roof structure. 🐾

Concept drawings are currently being made in partnership with Lapeer County Animal Control and Lapeer County Ed-Tech’s CAD program. We look forward to sharing them with you all! ✍️

Thank you to all who participated, shared, or cared! This is a HUGE need for our local shelter. Any funds that we raised in excess of what this project costs will be used for spays/neuters, vaccines, and medical care for the LCAC animals as usual.🩷

Small steps equal big steps and each one of you are helping to make a brighter reality for our often overcrowded, underfunded and understaffed shelter.

Join Culver's of Lapeer on Tuesday, September 24, from 5pm to 8pm as we support Friends of Lapeer County Animal Control. A percentage of all sales will be donated to help support this organization. Proceeds will be used to help with medical care for local shelter animals.

Come enjoy a delicious meal and help support our neighbors. We hope to see you there!
