M24 Lane Closure Alert. MDOT plans to close one southbound lane on M24 from railroad tracks to Demille Road starting next week Monday October 28th for 'manhole adjustments'. (😀 Yay!) We understand that this project could last all week and then might shift to the northbound lanes the following week.
We know this is going to snarl traffic, so please plan accordingly.

The 2024 trial year ended for All Dogs Can CPE agility this weekend, Sept. 27-29. Judge June Ritchart gave us 3 days of very challenging, but fun, courses. This was our 2nd of back to back September trial and our theme of Hello Fall was very fitting! Our photo op was used by many and we have included a few pics from some of the competitors who came out to enjoy spending time with there 4 legged and 2 legged friends.

This was our first trial that we are proud to say was supported by 2 sponsors for us. Pet Supplies Plus, Lapeer and Dr. Gary's Best Breed dog food generously donated for all of our competitors. Every handler entered received a free goodie bag and we had drawings Saturday and Sunday to give away a free bag of Dr. Gary's Best Breed. The worker raffle and NQ baskets were packed full of goodies as well! These raffles are just a small way of showing our thanks for all the volunteers who pitch in to make these trials possible. So, thanks to everyone who pitched in to help and congrats to our raffle winners.

***SNOOKER CHALLENGE***
All Dogs Can has what we call our Snooker Challenge that occurs over the course of our back-to-back trials. There is one in February and one in September. Each day of the trial Snooker is offered. The winner is determined by combining the total of the Snooker scores from the 6 runs over the course of the back-to-back trials. They do not need to be qualifying scores, but they must have a time. A Snooker Challenge champ is crowned after the 2 February trials and another after the 2 September trials. This year we added a GRAND CHAMPION, the team with the highest combined score from all 4 trials (12 Snooker runs). Our September challenge champion was Bess with Jim Jerse with 294 out of a possible 306 points! Bess and Jim also took home the Grand Champion title with 556 points out of a possible 612. This challenge will return in 2025 so be sure to sign up for the back-to-back trials in February and September to participate!

There are many fun and exciting events in the works! We will continue to offer our Perfect Weekend medals, as well as High Point Full House and Jackpot. Prizes for 51 Snooker too! Please come and join us in 2025 for another amazing year of CPE agility! Our first trial of the new year will be January 12, 2025 with our very own Venisa Figure judging!!! We will be announcing the winners of the 2024 cumulative points awards (most points earned over the course of all of the All Dogs Can CPE in 2024). There will be winners in each of the 4 height categories. Come on out, we look forward to seeing you next year!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to play for the second of our back to back Valentine's trials, Feb.16-18 at All Dogs Can in Lapeer, MI. As usual, Judge Mike Brownell supplied 3 days of flowing and fun courses. Mike should host a seminar in efficiency! Between the volunteers and club members, all 3 days were a model in team work and organization. Big shout out to everyone who pitched in to help. We couldn't have these trials without everyone's help. Worker raffles, NQ raffles and the kissing booth photo op were enjoyed by many. And lunch supplied by the club was appreciated as well! This was the final weekend of our February snooker challenge, it was a close race, with only 2 points separating 1st and 2nd place. But it was Hattie, with Sandie and Jim who came out on top. We will be having part 2 of the snooker challenge at our September back to back trial. There will also be a GRAND CHAMPION crowned in September as well. Come on out and join us for part 2! Several teams earned new titles this weekend: Jodi and Marge Cs-ATE Rylee and Eileen Cs-ATCH 5 Hattie and Jim/Sandie C-ATCH 3 Dahlia and Melissa C-ATCH 2 Brutus and Sarah C-ATCH Our high point winners: Hattie and Sandie Friday Jackpot Phoebe and Hillary Sunday Jackpot Hattie and Jim Sunday Fullhouse 2 teams earned perfect weekends, 15 runs, 15 Q"s, 0 faults Bess and Jim Munchkin and Niki Congrats to all the teams who were able to step up to the line and run together this weekend! Our next trial will be April 5-7 with Judge Lesa Layman. Join us for what's sure to be a great time!
