While Cooper and Slinky are continuing to enjoy their new friendship, we have been working on another one as well.

We have an absolutely heart warming update!
Over the last couple weeks we have been working on very slow introductions between a couple longtimers. Today Slinky and Cooper had their first off leash play date!
These two have shown such growth over the last few weeks. They both still have a ways to go, but this is a great step in the right direction. Often times we see dogs deteriorate so quickly in shelter and it is truly heartbreaking to watch their personalities fade. Today was an overwhelmingly happy and tearful day for us🥹
To be able to see two dogs come together and just be a dog. Both still are very dog selective and will take a great deal of time and patience to find the right fit. Enjoy their new found friendship 🤗

🫶🏻The Story of Bryan🫶🏻
If you have come to the building or even just drove by over the last few years, you have likely seen "Bryan" our bachelor goose hanging out in the front grass. This spring, Bryan returned again and was still living his bachelor life. However, a few weeks ago we noticed Bryan swiped right on his birds of a feather dating app and found Brittney👏🏻The two have been inseparable since their first date.
A few weeks into this new, exciting romance, they decided to invite their friends over. They wanted to meet everyone and watch humans get drug around by dogs who try to say hi to them.
While we know this isn’t really our normal content, we wanted to share Bryan’s story of romance with you all❤️

🌟This fun lovin' fella really enjoys his time outside. He loves playing with his toys, and with his fellow shelter friends.
Enriching walks with staff and volunteers are a great past time for our boy Zip that he truly enjoys.
🌟Someone please come adopt this sweet boy, he has come so far during his time here. He came to the shelter completely emaciated and covered in sores unsure of any people or dogs.
🌟He is now completely healthy and enjoys playtime with everyone!!
