Our Activities Program is great for dogs of all sizes! Caramel is doing surface work with Julia and grooming desensitization. Yesterday was Caramels first Activities day and she was pretty nervous. Ever wonder what goes on during a daycare evaluation? At Elevation we pride ourselves on being fear and force free. And safety always comes first. Our evaluations consist of 4 phases. At each we monitor body language for signs of FAS (fear, anxiety, and stress). We progress at the individuals own pace and make sure they are being safe and having fun. Today was Rosie's first day. Initially, she wasn't sure what was going on and needed reassurance before meeting other dogs. We gave her cuddles, let her explore by herself and at her own pace, before introducing her gradually to other pups . By taking time with her she learned to trust us and by the afternoon was having fun with friends!

We had the pleasure of keeping Tommy the LAWS foster ( Laramie Animal Welfare Society - LAWS ) for a couple nights. He really opened up and is the cutest to watch play! Hopefully this adorable and loving boy gets adopted soon!

Join us Friday December 29th Winter Lights Festival at Washington Park at the Whoville Cocoa Hut from 5:00-8:30’ish. We will have hot cocoa, pup cups, 6 foot dog leashes and small dog sweaters for sale by donation.

Additionally, Jessica Nicole Photography will be at the park on Friday, December 29th from 6pm-7pm taking holiday photos under the ornament! She will be taking and delivering one FREE photo so come on out and get your photo taken!
