Look at all that undercoat! This is just a third of what was removed! We get tons out in the tub during the bath and then tons during the blowout, and THEN this!
This sweet gal went home feeling lighter, much cooler and feeling fresh and pampered!
Our deshed is a process of conditioning the skin and coat while removing the excess, dead undercoat which is released regularly in order for your pet to control their temps however when a pet is impacted or matted, it is important to address this in order for the coat to function properly.
In various situations, some double coat breeds may need to be clipped short depending on the severity of matting/impacting and sometimes other factors included. In cases such as this, it is crucial to brush your pet regularly after they have been clipped down so short to ensure their coat grows in properly and healthy.
Sadly, there is no way to prevent animals from shedding as this is a normal, healthy cycle. However, we can help you maintain your pet's healthy skin and coat to ensure a little less fur floating around the house!
