Here are some tips to keep your pets safe over Thanksgiving.

The most common conditions we see after the holiday are vomiting and diarrhea from pets being fed Thanksgiving food. Remember that although we want to include our pets in the festivities, even a small amount of human food can have big consequences.

We will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving, but will have regular hours the rest of the week:
8-6 Wednesday and Friday
8-12 Saturday

Thanksgiving can carry some hazards for pets. Follow these tips to keep your pets healthy and safe during the holiday.

We have had our power, internet, and phones restored this weekend, so we will be back open for our regularly scheduled hours of 8-6 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and 8-12 Thursday and Saturday.

We are able to provide all of our normal services including surgery.

If you still don't have power, AC, or internet you are welcome to drop by, hang out in the lobby, and use ours (you don't even need to bring your pet with you.).

Unfortunatelty the majority of other animal hospitals in the area are still unable to open, so many pets are currently aren't able receive the care they need. Please let your friends and family know that we are happy to take care of their pets until their regular animal hospitals reopen

We will be open Friday 10/11 (tomorrow) from 8-6.
We are working off of a generator and only have one cell phone to answer all of our lines.
Please be patient with us as we are trying our hardest to be open for you and your pets Sometimes the logistic can be more complicated or take longer than anticipated.
There is a large tree blocking the back half of our parking lot. We still have about half of the spots open.

We wanted to update everyone on our hours over the next coming days.
Tuesday: 8-6
Wednesday: Closed all day
Thursday: reopening 12-6
Friday: 8-6
Saturday 8-12

We have a plan in place that will allow us to serve our clients in need even if the power is out using our generator. Please understand that these plans can change based on how the storm affects us, but we will make every attempt to keep you informed.

We are finally back open after Hurricane Helene starting tomorrow at 8AM. Because we have been closed for so long we will even be open all day on Thursday (as opposed to the usual 8-12).

We really apologize for the inconvenience to all of our clients, but we've unfortunately been dealing with not having any electricity, phones, or internet since Thursday evening.

We just wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately we are still without power, phones, or internet at our office. We are being told all will be restored by monday morning. We apologize for any inconvenience, but obviously this was unforseeable.
If your pet has any serious conditions that need to be addressed urgently please contact one of the local ERs such as Blue Pearl or VEG.
We are hopeful that we will be back up and running for monday so that we can take care of any of your pets' non-urgent needs starting at 8am.
We will share an update when things become more clear.

We are open today (Wed Sept 25th) until 6PM for any of your last minute needs.
Our office will close Tomorrow, Thursday September 26th due to the hurricane.
We will reopen for normal business hours of 8-6 on Friday the 27th

With a potential storm heading towards the panhandle and leaving us with quite a bit of wind and rain in Tampa Bay, it's good time to remind everyone to be prepared for both yourselves and your pets. We've attached a few links on storm preparedness for your pets.
Remember that this time of year it's important that your pets are up to date on their vaccines in order to stay at shelters or hotels, keep a supply of medication available in reserve for pets with chronic medical needs, and make sure you have a week's supply of food.
