🎉 Happy Tails Adoption 🎉

Butter Noodle the ferret has left the building! Butter Noodle arrived at SPCA Tampa Bay back in December and has had quite the journey.

He was found as a stray and had been attacked by a dog, leaving him with severe injuries that required a few surgeries to correct. Following his procedures, Butter Noodle was placed into a loving foster home that cared for him until he was ready to find his forever family. Thanks to our amazing staff and volunteers, this sweet guy has made a smooth recovery!

We wish him and his adopter all the best in this next chapter! 🧡🐾

💕 Love at first bark! 💕

Visit our shelter pups and it will be love at first bark! Starting today, February 14, through February 28, all dogs 1 year and older can be adopted without a fee. We currently have more than 15 adult dogs awaiting their valentines 💕

🐾 PET VACCINE CLINIC THIS SATURDAY 🐾

Our next Community Pet Vaccine Clinic is this Saturday, February 8, from 9AM-12PM at our shelter in Largo.

Vaccines and microchips are $20 each unless you bring proof that you’re on government assistance. There is a limit of 2 pets per household. All animals must be secured in a carrier or on a leash to receive services.

🎉 Happy Tails Adoption 🎉

Tripod, our three-legged hamster, found his forever home this week! This sweet boy was scooped up by Lorell, an adopter with a passion for providing homes to animals who are typically overlooked in the shelter.

In addition to Tripod, Lorell has also adopted two more hamsters, Squeaks and Wammy, from our shelter over the last few years 🐹🐹

🐶 Meet Trudy! 🐶

Trudy is a sweet, 2-year-old canine looking for her forever companion. Trudy loves cuddles and can't wait to find her new snuggle buddy! She walks well on leash and accepts treats politely. Trudy might be open to having a pup pal in her new family, so be sure to bring the whole family when you stop by the shelter to meet her!

🐰 Alumni Update 🐰

Bambi, previously known as Thumper, was adopted from SPCA Tampa Bay back in September of 2024. When he first arrived at home, Bambi was nervous but his adoptive mom says he is now settling in and loving his new life!

He enjoys spending his days munching on strawberry treats 🍓 and playing with his block toys . Bambi is even making friends with his doggie brother 🐶🧡 We are so happy that this sweet bun is thriving in his new home!

We are here at Jungle Terrace until 7:30pm tonight kicking off Pet Walk! Come enjoy yummy food & drinks, door prizes and sign up for the walk in March 🐕

Mango is, well, sweet as a Mango 🥰 This 4-year-old feline in search of the purr-fect family to call her own. Mango loves chin and neck scratches and can't wait to find a new best friend to snuggle up with. She would prefer to be the center of attention and not have any other pets in her new home. Why Senior Dogs Make the Best Pets...

🐾 They are wise 🤓 They have lots of life experience and typically require much less training than younger dogs.

🐾 What you see is what you get! These pups have already grown into their wonderful personalities 🥰

🐾 They know how to love! They are eager to bond with their humans and make the most of their time with loved ones 🧡
