part 2 pet store outing
Part 2 of pet store outing! Once we parked ourselves in one spot for more than a minute, Willow goes into the down position until it's time to go. I'll get a better video of the entire process from walking/heeling ,to sitting, to down position. So proud! If you'd like to get your pup obedience training, text our trainer Joe to get them set up 512-412-4952 or email us at [email protected]
Willow leash training at pet store
Socialization and bringing pups into distracting situations is very important at a young age. Its important to start training at home without distractions initially. Once puppy has a good grasp on training and expectations it's time to bring them into the wilderness of society! Expect them to be easily distracted and give proper corrections as needed. This is a learning process πΎ today we brought Willow with us to the pet store to get her tag made. She did great!! Ignored distractions (except for 1 light correction if you can spot it!) and followed through on her training ππ We are so proud of our baby! We are actively taking youngsters for obedience training and daycare. Reach out to our trainer Joe to set up your pups training classes! Text your inquiry to 512-412-4952 or email us at [email protected]
This post has part 1 video and I'll post a second to show her laying down once we've parked in one spot for longer than 1 minute.
Willows leash training
Wanted to share a video on Willows leash training. She is currently 11 weeks old. She is training to heel when we walk and sit when we stop, and stay seated until we begin walking again. She's doing amazing! She's got an incredible trainer to guide and teach her, which makes all the difference! If you are struggling with walking your pups, please reach out! we're happy to help πΎ text Joe with obedience training inquiries 512-412-4952
We are adding puzzle games 𧩠to our enrichment program for boarding/daycare pups! This is one of many new and exciting enrichment activities we are incorporating π These games are wonderful for dogs who need to release extra energy by thinking and stimulating their brains to figure out how to get the prize (their treats)! We added a video of our Willow working hard and after days of trying (and maybe a little guidance from Mom and Dad) finally getting the prize! After all that hard work, she is now taking a nap π€ which is exactly the goal! These puzzle games will be available to all of our boarding/daycare pups and free of charge. Please mention at drop off if you'd like us to add a puzzle game to your pups stay!
Love sneaking over to visit my grooming pups when they stay with us β€οΈ
