It was a lovely time celebrating Dick Farmer’s 93rd Birthday today with some chocolate cake and Mozart played by Dale. He and Susan have done so much for Area IX Eventing and it was so wonderful of Laura to coordinate getting them out for a visit. For those who don’t know them, they ran the beautiful Abbe Ranch Horse Trials for around 40 years. They have recently been moved to an assisted living home and miss their home terribly. Anyone who would like to send them anything or visit please contact Laura.

1st Chandler Kolb on George with an impressive 136 total points!
2nd place Kira Hanes on Sven with 45 points.
3rd place Ayla Hunt on Edie with 40 points
It was a great last show to end on with everyone well mounted and safe. We will see you all June 14th for our Beginner Event and Combined Test!

The show must go on!
The weather is actually making a comeback and we will have a warm arena, warm food, and lots of fun.
Show starts at 9am, and it will be a sweltering 30° and sunny. Bring your t-shirts 😂
If you don’t have 4WD, park on the west side of the hay barn, but AWD and 4WD vehicles will be great to get in and out of the pasture parking. If you have any questions on parking please PM us.

Do we have an opportunity for you??!!

Have you always wanted to come to Florida but didn't have the money or opportunity?? well. This might be your lucky day. We are looking for 2 people to help us with the horses on the trip down to Florida. We will Provide your food , Overnight stays and luxury ride in Equine transport vehicles 😃 in return for helping us with our wonderful (and spoiled) horses as we take them to a warmer climate. Requirements are: some equine knowledge and a sense of humor. Dates are january 20th leaving the denver area arriving in Ocala area on january 23. Message if interested

Have you ever known a crazier group of people than equestrians,,,?
To prove it... we are having our show tomorrow. You will need 4 wheel drive to get Into the Parking. But I had someone come in today and they said it wasn't that difficult. If you have 2 WD or don't feel like parking in the usual parking area, we have room for about 6 trailers on the west side of the haybarn... your choice
