Hi All,
We need your help. This post is a plea in this new year to help us find a home for our boy Gummy Bear. This poor guy has been through so much in his short life. He was a stray off the streets of TX and then was put on the euthanasia list for space. We got Gummy to New England where he went into a very short time foster then went to another. He was so happy in foster but wasn't working out with the cats. So he then went to boarding and some training but his wait was to long. Gummy was very stressed and depressed in the boarding environment and semi shut down. A wonderful soul met this guy and fell in love with him. He saw all the love Gummy had to offer and the connection was real. Gummy however due to all he has been through was not wanting to share that connection with the other dog in the household. He was always fine with other dogs in his fosters but after being depressed in the kennel environment grasped onto his savior and was afraid of losing that again. That said we are praying for someone that will be Gummys savior and share their heart and home with him. He is really the sweetest boy and such a good boy. He just needs a home right now to give him the support to know he is safe and loved and the confidence to know he won't be dumped again. Gummy is around 2 yrs old, he loves going on adventures, walking hiking, camping or just cuddling. He could be whatever you wanted in that aspect. One of his fosters even had him paddleboarding. He loves toys as well but most of all cuddling and his people. He may get back to the point of being playful with other dogs in a home but right now would like him to have the time to decompress and have focus on him. He is doing good with our trainer that has been working with him in his foster. We will include some things we purchased for Gummy, an e-collar and Sprenger collar and a session with trainer. No fees if you would be willing to provide this deserving guy a home. Even if you would consider a foster to adopt or long term foster at this time. There is another dog in need that Gummys current home will take and give a forever to if all works. So you would be a savior for not just one but 2 dogs. He needs to be out ASAP as it's hard on current foster to keep dogs apart and shuffle them as it's just him. Also the dog he is going to take needs a spot ASAP.
Notes from current foster...
Gummy loves his toys and bones filled with peanut butter. He loves snuggles at night on the couch, and loves to watch the deer in the yard in the evening.
PLEASE if you can help reach out now. He is a really good boy that deserves a real home and life.

Sad to say once again our sweet boy Midnight is looking for forever. He is a young sweet boy that would make a great family dog. He just needs simple proper guidance like a child. He can be jumpy and nippy when running around outside with children as would be many pups that haven't been taught not to. These are very easy fixes with someone willing. He is just wanting to play. No matter what dog you get or where you get it please understand like anything you need to put effort and give them the guidance to know what is acceptable in situations they haven't been in. If you would like to give this deserving boy forever and you have young children that you think you may need help with him we will include a training session. It really is pretty simple. He is a wonderful pup.

We listed this guy earlier when he was at risk of being returned to shelter by foster due to no fault of his own. He now has been returned and at risk of euthanasia due to space. Dog and kid friendly and didn't respond to fosters cat either. As stated previously if anyone is interested in New England of giving him a home PLEASE reach out NOW before he is euthanized.

UPDATE BUCK WAS RETUENED TO SHELTER BY FOSTER🥺
This fella is Buck, he is a pup around 1 yr old and 64 lbs. Buck is extremely sweet and playful. He is great with kids and other dogs. He was scared and timid in the shelter but has come out of his shell in foster. Any interest in this sweet boy. If he doesn't find a home he will have to go back to shelter as TX foster was only temporary. Please let us know ASAP if interested.

Just to emphasize they need to be tagged by Christmas, otherwise they are at risk but shelter does not euthanized on holidays.
There is a list of 31 dogs with a deadline of today, Christmas day. 31 dogs, innocent dogs being euthanized for space at Christmas time. Just felt the need to try for at least one but chose 2 off the list that we are praying we can save. If it happens they will join Village For Paws Rescue . Neither of these girls even have a name. In honor of Christmas I wanted to at least give them a name and have chosen Angel and Holly. Keep an eye out as if this Christmas miracle happens they will be looking for forevers.

Update on our sweet lady Rocio...
This loving lady was left to die in the shelter alone after her pups were adopted out. She was extremely underweight and is an older girl. She appeared to have had a rough life. An extremely caring person stepped up and opened her home as a temporary foster. Upon arrival it became clear she was not feeling well, she had no interest in food and no energy. After a trip to the vet she had some sort of infection and was given antibiotics. Here we are 6 days later and her foster that may turn into forever is giving her the best care. This girls appetite is back and she is getting 4 small meals a day. She loves to lay under the Christmas tree. She now gets to feel the love she probably never had and a comfy cozy home to lay her head. This is what makes these sweet souls flourish. I am forever grateful to the kindness shown to her. She gets to be laying under a Christmas tree during this season of giving. The best gift one could give, my heart is full of joy. 💞

I Am Home...
Running a little behind but extremely happy to share our boy Bingo has gone home. This shy timid pup found himself on the euth list. He was so scared in the loud scary shelter. He came out of his shell after getting a great foster in TX until he could come on transport. Into the hands of another great foster when he got to New England. He had fur friends in his foster and he continued to thrive. Along from there his perfect forever found him. This sweet unique boy gets to live the life he deserved. Happy Life Bingo!

Our boy Midnight went home today. He was adopted when he came but his family was moving into a new home when he arrived. So our amazing fosters took him while they got settled. This boy was a surprise for the young fella in the family. I think his face says it all! Be great Midnight, you got the family you longed for. 💞

I Am Home...
So extremely happy to share that our girl Lillie went home today. Lillie came into the shelter with a few other dogs from the same household. We tagged her and the other female that is identical to her off the euthanasia list for space and being scared. These girls were terrified and shaking in the shelter. 🥺 We assume they are mother, daughter as their ages are 1 and 3. They are incredibly sweet girls. Amazing fosters in TX stepped up for them so we could get them on transport. An incredible foster here in New England had already comitted to having them and begged for the rescue to get them out. These girls arrived on Monday and Lillie went home on Wednesday. The perfect forever found her. So happy for you precious Lillie, happy life little girl, you made it home.

Thanks to all that came through for these deserving pups, you are true life saviors. It cannot be done without you. 6 off these pups were off the last call list and were about to lose their lives for shelter space. 🥺

Posting this video not only to let folks know Marley is on the list being euthanized at any time for space. We can try to save if someone reaches out immediately in the New England area that would give this pup a home to land in. ALSO posting so folks can hear the reality of what goes on in the shelter. People need to stop blaming the shelter and realize where the problem lies. People so easily just dumping their dogs. All the excuses they give or just plain tossing them out. People not spaying/neutering, backyard breeding. These pups deserve better, they deserve forevers. We love all those that have joined us to make this happen. It takes one person to dump a dog but a village to save it.
