About Homekeepers by Stacy

I’m a Las Cruces transplant as of 2018, relocating from Dallas, TX. Being retired (from a 30 year career as an investigator) and having more time available to pursue my personal interests, I have a desire to connect in my community and provide a needed service. I have been housesitting for clients since 2016, traveling near and far (Australia in 2019!) to care for peoples homes and pets. I am a crazy pet lover and have had both cats and dogs over many years.

What services do you provide?

I provide in-home services, meaning that I care for your pets in your home. I am generally asked to stay overnight during the sit, but can also provide stop-in services. Your sit will be customized to whatever your needs are, but generally includes feeding, watering, and walking pets, administering medication, providing security for your home, watering plants, collecting mail, accepting deliveries, troubleshooting issues as they arise, etc. Of course, most importantly, I provide companionship, love and attention for your pets far beyond what they would receive if they were boarded. Other services, like a ride to the airport or a home-cooked meal when you return, can also be arranged.

How much do you charge?

I charge $40 per day for 0/1 pets, $50 per day for two pets, and $60 per day for three pets. Anything beyond that is negotiable.

Will you provide us with updates?

Of course! I will contact you as frequently as you like with updates and photos of your pets.

Do you have references?

I have multiple references, which are available upon request.

I have years of experience caring not only for my own home and pets, but also those of others. I am trustworthy, honest, and capable of providing the best of care for your pets and your home. I am experienced at troubleshooting issues that may arise while you are away from home - one client had a gas leak I was able to detect and resolve, and another had a pet that needed medical attention and required veterinary care. Whatever your needs are, you can be assured that I will handle them with the utmost care and concern. I am a non-smoker. Your home will be safe and secure - no one will be invited to your home during your absence.
