Good morning! Who loves braided bread and cookies? I know I do! I am helping Heidi's Helping Hands fundraise by selling bread and cookies. If you are interested click on the link below make sure you click me as your seller Cassandra m.

For those of you who don't know, Heidis Helping Hands is an organization that is currently run out of home. They put on annual events such as an Easter event and a Christmas event for the community. You can find us there making balloons as part of our other business Mighty-Twisty . These events are always free. There's always stuff for the kids to do and it's always a lot of fun. But as you can imagine setting up for those events means they need a lot of space. Heidi's Helping Hands is fundraising to get a building to help with storage and give a new bigger area for events.

You can find Heidi's Helping Hands on Facebook. Simply answer the questions to join the group. On the page you can keep up with future events, and it's also a page where if you ever need a helping hand you can find one.

If you order online there is an extra fee. If you want to order by form please message me I will have forms. Please note that orders will take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. They will not be shipped. I will personally deliver them to you. Fundraiser will be from November 1st-November. 28th.

Is it time to limit our use of single-use plastic bags?

The City of Las Cruces wants to improve everyone’s health and environment. One simple strategy is to limit single use plastic bags that are given away in retail stores. Did you know on average:

-A household uses 1500 plastic bags per year.
-The average single-use plastic bag is used 12 minutes before it is thrown away.
-Plastic breaks down to microbeads that can absorb toxins.
-Each of us consumes a credit card size of plastic a week in plastic microbeads.
-We drink over one teaspoon of plastic microbeads in each bottle of water.

Hey guys it’s us again we recently came together with a team of people and we saved 11 heart worm dogs out of the 13 that were saved from being a high risk of being euthanized because of their heart worm and not having enough space. WE NEED THE COMMUNITIES HELP. We are trying to give these animals a second chance at a better life, we need at least 5,000 dollars which will provide injections for each dog , meds that they need during their treatment and heartguard for six months following treatment. Please help us and share to everyone you know every dollar counts and we can’t thank you enough for everyone who has provided continuous support!

Hi animal lovers!! We want to help the animal shelter this holiday with supplies to keep the animals happy and healthy. We are asking for donations for food, blankets, toys etc. We will also be teaming up with Mighty-Twisty to hold a raffle. We plan to donate 10% of all earnings from the raffle.
