I live in one of the most beautiful and breath taking areas of the planet and all around me is God's artwork displayed every day and all day. My passion is to capture His glory in photographs as a way to express my praise for His creation. His art gallery is on display for all to enjoy but very few take the time to appreciate His creativity, majesty, and glory.

Here are some beautiful pictures my husband took of the Florida Mountains when the poppies were out. He loved to take pictures of the mountain with the poppies. I scattered his ashes there when he died.

Sometimes being negligent in the backyard is a photo opportunity. This w**d, the Apricot Mallow, grew through our partition fence all summer. Finally the rains came and the w**d began to bloom. This is the progression of photos I took to arrive at the final take. Each image gives a different perspective and illustrates how working with a subject yields greater benefits.

I'm not known for doing portraits so this is quite unique for me. I'm working on removing the lamp shade in the background using photo shop so an update will appear soon. This was not taken in a studio with light boxes, shades, and flash. I used the natural light in the room and was fortunate to capture some great expressions. Let me know if you like the portrait and any suggestions to make it better.

This photo I entitled "Best Friends Wait" and was taken while Curt shoed my Mother-in-law's horse in Casa Grande, AZ. I was taking several pictures during that time with my POV on Curt but when I sat down to view the lot of them I was surprised to see his dog in the foreground. It so impressed me that I entered it into competition and won first prize. For me it captures the essence of having such a patient companion.

Dripping Springs, near Las Cruces, NM, is one of my favorite hiking places as well as one of my favorite places to take scenic photos. This is just one example of the amazing beauty found in the "Land of Enchantment"... would you agree?

I love old rustic barns because they make me feel young. I may be sixty-two years old but I sure look better than old fella from the 1940s.

Everything is BIG in Texas... well, New Mexico has some pretty large dragonflies. I captured this while the dog had it's attention. These large creatures only appear a few days during the summer when the temperature gets above 100 degrees F after the sixth year of a drought. Rare photo indeed.

My friend has an old car that he literally drove into the ground. That was just after he drove by one of those warning signs "Watch for Falling Rocks" which he did until they fell. Enjoy!

While visiting Colorado last October I came across this beautiful display of fall colors in Lakewood (Denver Suburb) and could resist capturing the scene. It felt good to take pictures again.
