As we approach the end of the year, it's important to reflect on our joys and sorrows. This year, we are proud to have written over 2,500 vouchers, providing help to fix more pets than ever before. We also got the opportunity to help pet owners who are homeless. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Schumacher Grant. While we celebrate our efforts in helping people, we also faced a heartbreaking loss with the passing of a dedicated volunteer. She is dearly missed. We remain united in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of Dona Ana County pets. As we move into the new year we will be making a HUGE announcement that will positively impact our organization and the community as a whole.

Thank you Schumacher Veterinary Clinic, remember any donation you make through us specifically for The Schumacher Grant is tax deductible! 👍

The Holiday season is in full swing and we always wish the best to our clients and their pets ❤️. In lieu of cards/gifts/cookies this year, SVC is fundraising to help further and expand the reach of our spay/neuter efforts and general veterinary care via The Schumacher Grant. We began this past spring by helping unhoused clients through Comminity of Hope, but were able to expand and assist low-income/in-need clients through La Casa, La Clinica de Familia, La Piñon, and The Salvation Army as well. Our goal is to make this a permanent program available to these pets and people in need.

Both SNAP and ARF (via Dona Ana County) have specific funds designated towards these animals. Donations should be made directly to SNAP and/or ARF, please specify that these funds go to The Schumacher Grant ❤️. There are specific criteria applicants must meet to be eligible for this assistance-if you have questions in this regard, please ask. Thank you to EVERYONE who has already donated this year, we’ve been able to help over 50 animals so far. Thanks as well to the private donors who have contributed directly when treatment costs have exceeded those covered by the grant.

SVC will fundraise each day in December between now and Christmas. Anything helps. Please donate or just like/comment to be entered in our special drawing for some clinic swag 😊

We met this cutie and many others at our community vaccination clinic this morning! Thanks to La Clinica de Familia and La Piñon for hosting us and helping us to reach a new set of clients and pets in need. Very glad that SNAP was able to be there as well. Grateful to all who have donated privately, to SNAP and to
The Schumacher Grant (ARF via DACHS) ❤️

Our Story
