Rugerheim Kennels We are long time breeder of German Shorthaired Pointers.

We compete with our dogs in field trials, dog shows, and we expect from puppies that we produce is that they are very healthy, excellent hunting dogs and amazing family pets.

The GSPCA Health and Welfare Committee is working on beefing up its DNA repository! We need YOU to donate your dog's blood. Starting in January, in Texas at the Sinton shows, and in Oregon at the Rose City Classic Shows in Portland. There are forms to fill out to go along with your donation. Your donation allows schools that are doing research in specific areas, ie Chagas, Hemangiosarcoma, Lymphoma, Epilepsy, etc to pull on our DNA to help their research. All dogs are needed for this! Contact [email protected] if you are interested in setting up a collection event at your shows or specialties!

Our Image is six months now and she is still loving Dock Diving. Rugerheim's Mama's Spittin' Image took Winner's Bitch both days at her first weekend of dog shows. In to the field in December. We are excited about her future.
