Today Robert went in the cow elk hunt that he won in our New Years giveaway! He had success and made many memories! Congratulations Robert and we are happy to see you having success in the field! Here is what his grandfather sent us along with some pictures!

A BIG THANKS to Robert Major of Major Wildlife Studio and NM Desert Dogs for allowing Robert the opportunity to harvest a cow elk. Dee Wear, guide, of Chappman Ranch, made this a special hunt for Robert that will be remembered for a life time.

Out with the old and in with the new! It seems like more and more kids are getting sick with major health problems. If you know of a kid or your kid has fallen ill to a major health issue and loves to hunt, we have something that they may like! New Mexico Desert Dogs and Robert Lee Major at Major Wildlife Studio are giving away 2 cow elk hunts for 2 kids in this situation!

To qualify the kid must’ve or may still be going through treatments for the major health issue. Some examples are transplant, heart conditions, mobility impaired and cancer. These hunts will be now in January or feb. no license or hunter education needed. Open to under 21 years of age! Drawing will be done tomorrow on Facebook live!

Good morning all y’all! After doing an event at Jardin de los Ninos yesterday, we realized there was a need there. We noticed the kids need more things to do. If you have a basketball goal that’s new or in good shape, basketball nets, basket balls, footballs or anything sports related, let us know. There are 50 kids from I believe 3 years old to 12 years old. The kids were excited to be out playing and dancing around with their fresh haircuts! It was cool to be part of it helping feed the kids and just watching them all with their smiles on their faces.

We are thankful and blessed to be able to be part of these events for the kids and community! Having so many amazing friends that invite New Mexico Desert Dogs to be part of so many thing and to try to make a difference in people’s lives! Thank you to Christopher Baca and Simply Fresh Co , Las Cruces Police Community Outreach Officers, HteaO of las Cruces, Olympian Academy Of Cosmetology - Las Cruces, and Jardin de Los Niños for a great day!
