Have you met our male false chameleon, Hannibal?
Ever since he trained us to let him cruise around the shop with us, you can find him most days eating hornworms on the front counter. We don't recommend touching him, but we'd be happy to feed him a worm for you to see 😁

We are trying to find a loving home for this gentle special needs iguana. He was dropped of with half of his face missing and hes been treated for his injuries and is thriving. He will require a large space, lots of attention, and proper lighting/heating/humidity. He also has to be hand fed. Please message us if you are able to care for him long term. Thank you!

Dendrobates tincorius "Patricia" dart frogs are now available! We had the enjoyment of watching these metamorphose from tadpoles to these amazingly colorful froglets!

Our invert orders came in this week, our spider and scorpion section is overflowing. We got some super cool stuff in, listed below but also swing by and check it out!
Stripe Knee Tarantula, Big Asian Forest Scorpion,Curly Hair Tarantula, Jumping Spiders(!), big and small Whipspiders, Bumblebee millipedes, Pinktoe Tarantulas, Socotra Island Blue Baboon Tarantulas, and that's just the inverts!

Fall in LOVE with a new eight legged friend this Valentine's Day! This beautiful Peruvian Valentines Dwarf Tarantula (Cyriocosmus sellatus) and a few others are now available! These are a small species that prefer tropical environments, so they're an ideal tarantula for anyone wanting to maintain a docile spider in a smaller enclosure.

Lunch time from this Desert Hairy scorpion (Hadrurus arizonensis)! This is the largest species of scorpion found in the United States. They're commonly found at night outside their burrows in search of prey. There are different species/subspecies of the Desert Hairy scorpion that range from Arizona into California and Utah.

Anyone else suddenly craving a cinnamon roll??? This Mexican hognose is showing a natural defense by hiding its head. If that doesn't work, it'll flip onto its back, open its mouth and play dead! They're quie dramatic especially as babies, and that's what makes hognose one of our favorite species!

Our little tinctorius patricia tadpoles have finally turned into little frogs. Watching this journey has been so fun that we got in a bunch more little azureus tadpoles from a local breeder 😊 if you are curious about the process of raising a tadpole, swing by, we'd be glad to help you out, it's surprisingly easy!

These Brazilian Yellow scorpions (Tityus serrulatus) are a fascinating parthenogenic species native to South America. This species does great when kept communaly provided they have plenty of places to hide and abundant food.
