Giving Tuesday (Season) is TODAY!

Lintonfarms Colony Rescue continues to do their best work to help out the stray community of Nevada. We work solely off the donations of others and a tremendous amount from our own pockets to keep this project going. Please consider donating through the Linktree link below to our GoFundMe or purchase food and supplies from our Amazon wishlist to show your support. Our $1500 goal can help us continue to make good change beyond the 60+ rescues we have for almost two years now. If you want to purchase food, litter, or other supplies for us and would like us to pickup, we can work that out also. We go through about $400-$500 monthly on food and litter for our live in ferals and adoptable rescues as well as our our colony cats outside.

If interested in adoption reach out to see any of our really adoptable cats. Adoption fees are waive during the holiday season!!!

Meet Squash! He is an unneutered male with the emotional instability, strength and irritability of a wild lion. Even with all that, we love him and will be getting him neutered, vaccinated and tested Wednesday and rereleased back into the outside LFCR colony as he happily wishes. For now, he will relax in a kennel, eat some food and hopefully get a peaceful sleep.

While we definitely have a tie to our many cat colonies and humanitarian efforts there, we try our best to help our other furry friends also.
Meet Apple 🍎
She is a now spayed, 1 year old, friendly rabbit who will now live at LFCR. She will join her new brothers who we saved 4-5 years ago from a “illegal snake house” where they lived a horrible life and would’ve inevitably been live food if not for quick response. We hope now she will feel safe and enjoy her years at LFCR!

LFCR takes in cats of all backgrounds. Below are several highly adoptable cats and kittens that would make excellent additions to your house. We also have some other shy kitties looking for homes if that suits you best also so reach out and we can provide options.

Below is an adoption questionnaire link. Please fill that out and email to [email protected] . Once the questionnaire is filled out and we agree that our rescue fits the bill, you will sign an adoption contract at time of pickup. We can also set up visitations!

***We are also running a forever adoption extravaganza where if you adopt two or more of our rescues, we will waive the $50 adoption fee for BOTH cats! We have several cats that do well together! All cats get examined, lifelong nail trims if wanted, microchipped, combo tested negative and vaccines. ***

Please share and reach out to someone who you know is looking for a companion! Finding homes allows us the ability to continue our mission full throttle!

Jack update: Jack’s lab results show him having a thyroid problem and kidney insufficiency along with his heart problem. He is now on thyroid meds twice daily, twice weekly subcutaneous fluids, heart meds and has another two weeks of meds for his ear infection. While a lot of work, Lintonfarms is up for the task and trying to get as much enjoyable time with Jack as we can!

Help us raise our goal to support our rescue Jack! Please consider pledging donations towards the coverage of Jack’s ear surgery and lab work. Jack is a permanent resident at Lintonfarms Colony Rescue and has a lot going on. Our goal of $200 is to cover his labs and surgery. We anticipate he has a lot going on as we await lab results. As a permanent cat with our rescue, Jack will use dozens of gallons of distilled water, hundreds of cans of cat food, hundreds of pounds of litter and of course countless days of medication for the rest of his life. Please donate to our GoFundMe specifically for Jack (Linktree Below and in Bio as well as QR code). We officially retired our old GoFundMe and will be doing smaller fundraising and sponsorship opportunities in the near future!
If you have any questions or looking to donate money or supplies in person, please DM or text.

Some news to brighten your day! Lyon was quickly reunited with his family after getting loose. Temperatures ranging from 114 to 112 when LintonFarms Colony Rescue found him wandering the streets. We did a quick assessment and made sure he was hydrated and reached out to the number on his tag. This shows the importance of having your pets collared and tagged. Microchips are also highly recommended.

We will be posting updates on several adoptable rescues and some fundraisers in the coming week!

We are deeply saddened to announce that our rescue Waffles will cross the Rainbow Bridge today. Waffles came to us March 2023. He came to us at the age of 17, horrible teeth, and a strong personality. Waffles was not deemed adoptable due to age and would live out the rest of his life in our home. Unfortunately, Waffles was diagnosed with a plethora of ailments including multiple Lymphoma tumors, heart failure, hyperthyroidism, and chronic joint problems at the beginning of 2024. We are beyond sad, but happy his time ended in a loving home and not alone in the Vegas heat. We love you deeply Waffles!

What does Lintonfarms Colony Rescue do on Independence Day?

Well….

We trimmed the nails and checked wellness of all 25 rescues, installed brand new air purifiers (bought thanks to bday gifts for Ryan’s 27th), scrubbed all the cat trees, and added our bin style litter box method to the main room. All in all, helluva day!

We appreciate everyone’s support. Please consider following our socials or donating. We go through hundreds of pounds of litter, food and more weekly. We are even about to make our next order of medication for seven of our rescues!
