Our official Tropical Hula Santa photo 🥰🤣

The story behind the photo:

We got dressed and headed to the Fashion Show Mall for Santa Photos.

But that day there was a big accident on the highway and it was closed down.
That made Las Vegas to a big traffic jam. We were hardly moving….

So we didn’t make it to meet Santa. 😔
This was the last Pet Day there…

But we did make it to the Happy Hula Day Tropical Holiday Party and took photos with Hula Festive Santa 😂

How do you celebrate the Day of the Dead?

November 2nd-
* Day of the Dead in Hungary, where mom and I was born (we light a candle 🕯 and bring flowers 🌺 to the cemetery for the loved ones who passed).
Humans were visiting the cemeteries all around the country where their loved ones were lied to rest.
* the second day of Day of the Dead or El Dia de los Mu***os celebration, All Souls’ Day (Mexico)- Those who have died as adults are honored that day
( November 1st is for remembrance of deceased infants and children – los angelitos)

Mommy was amazed the way celebrating the dead in Mexico.
The day of the dead seems to be the opposite. The celebration of life.
On the Day of the Dead, it’s believed that the border between the spirit world and the real world dissolve. During this brief period, the souls of the dead awaken and return to the living world to feast, drink, dance and play music with their loved ones. In return, the living family members treat the deceased as honored guests in their celebrations, and leave the deceased’s favorite foods and other offerings at gravesites or on the ofrendas built in their homes.

Celebrating with parades, decorating the graves, building altars, flowers, food and music are essential part of the festivities.

The origins of the Day of the Dead began in the Aztec empire of central Mexico thousands of years ago.

August is our birthday month.
My birthday is at the beginning of the month and mommy’s at the end of the month.

She always gets sentimental this time of the year and starts to look at my photos.
