Couldn’t have said it better. These kids show up, the horses show up, and somewhere in the middle, something incredible happens. Im just
grateful to be a part of it ❤️
It’s wild what can happen in just seven days.
We’ve got kids rolling in from all different places—some guarded, some loud, some pretending they’re way too cool for horses—and by the end of the week, they’re a little sunburned, a lot dusty, and somehow… completely changed.
They’ve mucked stalls, worked hard, sweated through their shirts, and learned to show up—not just for the horses, but for each other.
They’ve encouraged strangers, handled big feelings, shared snacks, told a few jokes I absolutely should’ve stopped (but didn’t), and consumed more sugar than any human body should be able to process.
And still—what comes through is growth. Big, bold, quiet, messy growth.
These kids are real, and raw, and open. And watching them choose kindness, honesty, grit, and connection—it moves me every time.
This ranch has a way of teaching lessons we don’t even have to say out loud. The horses do most of the talking.
I’m just lucky enough to witness it.
