ATTENTION ⚠️ 11/30 will be our last day at our Decatur location 😭 We want everyone to know that we still have two other locations in the valley and we are still here to help you get quality vet care at an affordable price. Thank you to everyone who came to see us there and thank you to the team and especially our manager Tami who put their blood, sweat and tears (both happy and sad) into our Decatur location. ❤️🫶🏻

We hear this question all the time when scheduling appointments and going over estimates: "What is an exam fee!?" We would love to help you better understand veterinary expenses. Office exams are required for every visit, and the cost of the exam varies depending on the reason for the visit.

For healthy pets just getting preventative care like vaccines and have no concerns with their pet, it's a $40 wellness exam.
If your pet is sick or injured, or you have concerns you'd like to address with the doctor, our exam fee is $65.
We offer cheaper exam fees for rechecks and tech visits as well.

If you ever have any questions or don't understand, please do not hesitate to reach out! Dr. Cuddles is full of kind, knowledgeable team members who are happy to help you. 🥰🐾❤

Monday we were able to help a frenchie mama in need of an emergency c-section to not only save her but her babies too! Dr. Huddleston and our dedicated team at our Eastern location were able to help them right away and just LOOK at these babies 🥹🥹🥹 Way to go team! We love being able to help our community when they need it most. ♥️🐾

Meet our new bestie, Aureole!!! Look at those EARS 😩 Miss Aureole came in to see us for her big girl vaccines and some other preventative care. We just love seeing cute puppies get on track with the correct vaccines (AND boosters!), f***l testing, and get them started on heartworm prevention to protect those big strong hearts! Thanks for stopping to see us at the Fort Apache location 🥹♥️

Ripley said DONT WORRY AND BE HAPPY because she got spayed!!! 🎉🎉🎉 Another cutie patootie now won’t have to worry about increased risks of mammary cancer, or a nasty yucky infection in her uterus! Spaying and neutering also cuts down on the ongoing issue of overpopulation in our shelters, giving the dogs in the shelter a better chance at finding a forever home. Athena gave a us a good fright (and some kisses) when she came to see Dr. Dori and the gang over at our Decatur location 🥹♥️ We LOVE seeing your pets in costume during their visits, and they may just get a little treat if they come in all dressed up 🫶🏻 Wishing you and your fur babies a safe and healthy weekend!!

We don’t like sharing graphic content all the time, but when it comes to your dog having a pyometra due to failing to spay your pet at the appropriate time is always a reason to bring awareness. Pyometra is a fatal infection of the uterus if left untreated. How do you treat pyometra? Performing a hysterectomy, which ultimately means now you’re paying for $2-3k surgery, vs paying $380 for a spay when they are young. We don’t say to spay and neuter your pets because we’re greedy doctors, we say this because we care and never want your pet to have this happen. If your pet is not spayed or neutered, call us ASAP to schedule your surgery. We are running specials at our Decatur location, so feel free to give us a call for more information! 🐶

Don’t worry doc, let the pros take over 😌 It’s almost VET TECH WEEK!!! Veterinary Technicians are licensed nurses who go through a 2-4 year program and get a degree in Veterinary Nursing. They are the ones helping draw blood for your pet’s annual blood work, take radiographs when your best bud’s back leg is bothering him, they clean Fluffy’s teeth and help prep the doctor to remove that painful tooth, they monitor while your baby is under anesthesia for their surgery, and lots of other things.
