Comment below the amount of years you've been keeping or breeding. What were, or currently are your biggest growing pains?

From our personal experience, it's easy to become overwhelmed when growing your business. The key we've found is to dial in the balance that allows you to keep it enjoyable. If it feels like too much you might need to scale back until you're ready for that next step.

“What do i ACTUALLY want?”

You might squirm, searching for the “right” answer. You might feel self judgement and disappointment, when you respond:

“I don’t know.”

This is a lie we tell ourselves.

This is a culture where our minds are fogged & we are hypnotized, losing touch with our natural, luminous clarity and curiosity.

Making us think 💭 that… maybe we don’t know, after all.

𝙱 𝚄 𝙻 𝙻 𝚂 𝙷 𝙸 𝚃 ...

Visualize a reality where that phrase no longer exists — in any part of your life, BECAUSE

The truth is: WE DO know.

But we also know something else is true: claiming it takes 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚 🦁.

But by being honest with myself and saying “I know exactly what I want but it scares the s**t out of me” Got me right here, in my perfect little life full of new experiences, and adventures.

So my challenge for all who stopped to read….

We’ve come a long way in a short time with F🐍F. Ash and I have had so much fun over the past four years working with and learning more about so many different amazing reptiles. We’ve been fortunate to travel around the country and meet tons of reptile enthusiasts that have now become friends of ours. We absolutely love this reptile community and are very grateful to be a part of it.

Thank you to everyone that’s lended us any advice along the way. Thank you for making us feel welcome in every city we’ve visited. Thank you to everyone that’s ever stopped by our booth to check out our hatchlings and chat with us. Thank you to our customers/new friends. Thank you to all of the promoters, event organizers, and volunteers that put together these amazing reptile events. Thank you to the OG‘s that helped pave the way for all the future reptile enthusiasts like us. To of course for fighting to protect our rights to have these amazing reptiles. To the podcasters, YouTubers, and all of the interesting characters in the community that help keep us entertained and educated while we clean up snake p**p, change water dishes, and feed our snakes.

Very blessed to have stumbled on such an amazing hobby and so many great people while in the pursuit of trying to learn more about snakes to hopefully conquer my fear of them. Well, we know how that turned out 🤷‍♂️

All I can say from here is, if there’s something in life you have a fear of then I suggest you learn more about it. You never know, it might just become one of the things you’re most passionate about.

(Wish I could’ve tagged more of you. Definitely way more than 20 people that have inspired us in this hobby)

We hit it!
This has been a project we’ve been working on since the beginning. The first clutch that came from this female were all slugs and we NEVER get all slugs☹️

We not only hit the double recessive visual albino tristripe we hit TWINS!! Our first visual tristripe hatchling and it’s a double recessive and on top of that it’s a TWIN!! Our 1st twins too 🙏

Ok guys, here we go!! 🙌🤞
ROUND 2 FUNKY PROJECT!!

One of the coolest things I remember from the last we did was having a group of people come up to the table super pumped to see how the funky project was coming.

So what’s the funky project?

Jan 20th 2020 we hatched out some BEL’s, a couple Mojave’s, a normal w/ an interesting head stamp, and a FUNKY.

i’ve reached out to quite a few breeders to try and find out what that funky thing was and across the board no one had seen anything that looked exactly like it. A couple people recommended I hold it back to see if maybe I might have possibly stumbled on a new gene which isn’t that uncommon these days w/ so many new morphs being discovered.

Maybe it’s nothing but a weird pastel mojave. Maybe it’s something. That’s the fun of breeding. Sometimes you really never know what you’re going to get. We’ve decided to hold him back as well as the normal female with the headstamp.

We actually did the same pairing this year and what you are looking at in the pic is the eggs from the second go around to see if we can replicate what we saw in the first clutch. I could go on and on about future plans but I’ve already wrote quite a bit so I’ll leave it at that.

What project are you excited about? Have you found anything crazy in your collection that you’ve either proved out or proved just to be an anomaly? We wanna hear about it.

It took us 3 clutches of eggs before we finally hit our first visual clowns. Well worth the wait because we ended up w/ 2 really beautiful hatchlings from a het to het pairing.

The snakes sell themselves so for us it’s all about these interactions. Watching the kids faces light up when they hold or buy their first snake is why we love what we do. ❣️

After a shed and a 💩 it’s time for a 🛀🤣

I have 2 snakes out of the whole collection that soak more often than I feel they should. I’ve checked them a couple times worried that they might have mites but nope, no mites on either of em. They just seem to really enjoy soaking. They’ll come out when it’s feeding time though 🤣

Anybody else have ball pythons that think they’re anacondas?

Just a few days away! We’ve been waiting for two years for this day. Had our bags packed for last years Tinley and right about at this time we got word that it was canceled due to Covid. If you love reptiles like we love reptiles one trip to Tinley will have you hooked for a lifetime. We can’t wait to see everyone and all the awesome animals! Who’s going?

Banana & calico make some of the most visually appealing snakes in my opinion. Sometimes the simple stuff is just as beautiful if not better than some of the most expensive genes out there. I love it all though!

Do you see 🐸’s or ❤️’s?

Our funky boy is just a few more meals & months from being able to breed. Not sure what we have here but I’m looking forward to finding out. One of the female siblings from this clutch had some obvious het markers but there were no recessive genes in this pairing so I’m not sure what that hidden gene could be.

Has anyone else seen this pattern on a ball python? I’m all ears if someone thinks they know what this is. Might just be an outstanding Pastel mojave but I have a feeling there’s another gene at play and though it slightly resembles a few genes I’ve yet to come across anything exactly like it. Who knows 🤷‍♂️ That’s the fun of it!

Pretty cool pattern on this little guy! I think I know what this combo is but I’m not 100% sure because I’ve never hatched spider leopard combos. If any breeders out there know for sure feel free to tap in and let me know your thoughts. I know it’s pastel, I know it’s yellow belly, I know it’s spider, and I’m pretty sure it’s also leopard. What do you guys think?

Yellow belly is such a cool gene! Especially when you get these high expressions of it that actually turn the sides of the belly yellow. Ive yet to see a combo it doesn’t make better.
