We are urgently seeking foster homes for five female breeder surrenders arriving this Sunday from California. All supplies & vet care are covered—you just provide love and a safe space! ❤️🏡

🔹 Requirements:
✅ Must be available to pick up your foster dog on Sunday
✅ Must be in the Las Vegas area
✅ Virtual home checks will be conducted

🔹 About the Dogs:
🐾 Ages: 2-3 years old
🐾 Weight: 20-25 lbs
🐾 No known medical issues (will need spaying in the future)

🔹 What We Need Your Help With:
❓ Are they dog/cat friendly?
❓ Are they kid friendly?
❓ They are likely not potty trained and will need guidance

🙏Help Me🙏

I’ve once again taken on too many foster dogs in my home—and I really need your help to share the love and get these pups into new foster homes! If you can offer a little extra care and TLC, please read on:

💛Elodie:
• A little over a year old with a spinal deformity causing mobility issues in her back legs.
• She gets around fine on her own, is potty-trained, playful, and loving.
• She does best in a calmer environment with fewer dogs—she’s dog friendly but can get a bit amped, and she’s also cat friendly (she might give a little chase- but there’s no aggression).
• Bonus: Elodie will be on the news tomorrow with me!

💜Bug:
• Rescued last week from the shelter with severe breathing distress—she went right to the ER.
• Finishing up her antibiotics and doing well now.
• Loves being around dogs and people but needs a quieter home with someone around to monitor her breathing and ultimately quality of life.

💙Larry:
• Our sweet senior Frenchie rescued this weekend—he’s incredibly adorable and gentle.
• He has some breathing and regurgitation issues (a bit of Frenchie-specific TLC is needed: belly band, vet visits for a dental, neuter, and monitoring).
• Not potty trained yet, so his foster will need to help him get on track.

💚Po:
• A tiny English boy- likely less than a year old. He is another shelter rescue dealing with severe cherry eye that needs surgery.
• He came down with pneumonia (and has a small trachea causing ongoing congestion) so he’s on medication right now. He has to finish meds and get cleared for surgery.
• Po is playful, dog friendly, and cat friendly—he just needs a home that can see him through his medications and vet appointments.

📢 Rescue is Full of Surprises! 🐾

Every day in rescue brings the unexpected. One moment, you’re preparing to save a dog from euthanasia, only to find out her owners are on their way to reclaim her. Thankfully, she gets to go home—but that wasn’t the case for this little girl.

You might remember her from Friday when we asked for pledges and a foster. She was found as a stray in the rain, unable to use her back legs due to IVDD. We believe this is a fairly new injury since she’s still learning how to navigate without mobility in her hind legs.

Yesterday, while picking up Larry, the shelter staff told us her owners never came for her as they said they would. By 5 p.m. today, her legal hold was up, and we were asked if we would still take her in. Of course, we said yes—and we are so glad we did.

She’s a tiny little girl, very scared and unsure of everything happening, which is completely understandable. Our hope is that with the right care, she’ll be on the road to recovery. 💛

Meet Larry, our sweet senior Frenchie rescued yesterday! 🥹😍 He needs a Las Vegas foster 🙏

We originally requested the IVDD girl Obi but we did not rescue her because we were told her owner was coming to pick her up… we felt compelled to still rescue a pup and now Larry has joined our rescue family. ♥️ Larry is about seven years old, absolutely adorable, and full of love—he’s dog-friendly and adores people.

He does need a bit of extra TLC, including a dental cleaning, neutering, and a vet check for some regurgitation issues. Despite these little hurdles, Larry is an easygoing guy who just needs a safe, loving foster home right now.

Stay tuned too because we were told yesterday Obi’s owner never showed so we plan to get her today at 5p!

🚨 Update on Shelter Frenchies 🚨

Rescue is full of unexpected turns, and today was no exception. The IVDD girl we were committed to picking up at 4:30 PM today will not be coming to us—her owner has come to reclaim her. The shelter has assured us that if anything changes, they will call us, but for now, there is nothing more we can do. With the state of homeless animals today anytime an owner comes forward to claim their stray pet is a joyous occasion. This one feels a little different… but we wish her the very best and will be here if she needs us again ♥️

We know many of you pledged and even donated to help her, and we want to honor that commitment by saving another dog in need—because there is always another one waiting🥺.

Meet our newest rescue-to-be—a sweet old man who was found as a stray. The shelter has him listed as seven years old, he is emaciated, with a body score of 3/9 and noted to need a dental

🐾 No major medical concerns noted (besides needing groceries and his teeth cleaned)
🐾 Severely underweight
🐾 Will need a loving foster to help him heal

A Paralyzed Dog Doesn’t “Run Away”

This tiny sweet 23-pound girl was found as a stray today—in the rain. And let’s be real: dogs whose back legs don’t work don’t run away from home.

The only logical explanation? She was dumped. Left out in the cold and rain because her back legs stopped working.

💔 IVDD is a very real possibility for anyone who owns a Frenchie. If you can’t commit to at least trying to help your dog if their back legs go out, don’t get a Frenchie. It’s that simple.

This girl will be euthanized tomorrow—on Valentine’s Day—unless she is rescued. No other rescue is likely coming for her. We want to save her, but we need a foster.

Fostering her would be simple:
🐾 She needs crate rest for 4-6 weeks
🐾 She’ll need her bladder expressed multiple times a day at least at first
🐾 Ideally, someone home more often than not
🐾 We will provide EVERYTHING—supplies, training, guidance, and full support

We are extremely experienced in caring for IVDD dogs and will walk you through every step.

We are begging for a foster to step up. Without one, we can’t save her. 🥺

We definitely do NOT believe she’s 9 years old—this girl has been zooming around and playing nonstop for the last 3 hours! Our guess? More like 3-5 years!

Licorice is super dog-friendly and absolutely adores people! She’s the perfect partner in crime for a playful pup looking for a bestie.

🐞 Bug Update! 🐞

Yesterday afternoon, we picked up Bug (formerly Gladis) from the emergency vet, and we wanted to give you all an update! We did go live, but unfortunately, the video didn’t save—so here’s the latest on our tiny warrior. 🥹

She’s doing incredibly well considering everything she’s been through. She still has some difficulty breathing, but she was so excited to see me, so affectionate, and just the sweetest little thing. It’s always heartbreaking to see a dog who’s never known comfort—she chooses to sleep on the floor instead of a bed because she doesn’t know the difference. But don’t worry, we’ll get her used to all the cozy things!

Bug is tiny—too tiny. And that’s part of why she’s struggling. Everyone wants the smallest Frenchie without thinking about what that actually means. When you breed for extreme smallness, things go wrong. Bug’s spine has a severe angle, her back legs are set abnormally wide, her shoulders seem off, and all four of her limbs, feet, and spine are deformed. Her feet are totally flat, making it hard for her to stand for long before they slide out from under her.

Right now, we’re taking things slow—feeding her one freeze-dried nugget at a time because she gets so excited that she literally stops breathing. We’re hoping that antibiotics continue to work, her pneumonia improves, and that she can have a good quality of life—so we can spoil her absolutely rotten.♥️♥️♥️

LAS VEGAS FOSTER NEEDED FOR SWEET FRENCHIE GIRL ♥️

This sweet little lady, Licorice, is looking for a foster home! We’ve requested to pull her from the shelter, we pick her up tonight, and we need a safe place for her to land ASAP.

🐾 About Licorice:
• Estimated to be around 9 years old, I bet she’s a little younger, the shelter isn’t great at this ☺️
• Tiny! Weighing just 19 lbs
• Adopted & returned, her adopters brought her to the vet for sniffles and were educated about her ongoing care. When they realized they weren’t prepared for the potential medical costs of an older Frenchie they brought her back 💔
• Extremely sweet and loving

We don’t know yet if she’s dog-friendly, so she’ll need a foster home with no other dogs or one that can do a slow, structured intro with proper decompression.

We’ll be picking her up this afternoon, so we’re looking for a foster immediately—definitely within the next couple of days. Fosters must be local to Las Vegas.

We have to pay this amount now. 😮‍💨

They believe she has aspiration pneumonia.
There is no dislocation of her shoulder. Her body is orthopedically VERY sad! She has a drastic angel to get spine, like Elodie. Her front feet are completely flat. Basically nothing about her frame is normal. It’s so sad. 💔 They are also going to test the pressure in her eyes.

She’s seeking some attention and showing some spice! I knew she was going to be a sassy girl 😍😍 They looove her at VEG ☺️🫶

They are going to try to see if she will eat some and try to start weaning off oxygen some as well.

We will update here as we get them.

We have a little ways to go to meet this payment and as you can see it can end up being more so please keep sharing and donating so she can get everything she needs.

🚨 GLADIS Update 🚨

Right now, we suspect that GLADIS has severe pneumonia, possibly with fluid on her lungs. She had to be stabilized and put on oxygen just so the vets could get her calm enough for X-rays. We’re currently waiting for that to happen as when she is removed from oxygen she immediately struggles.

So far, we’ve paid over $500, and the X-rays alone will be another $500. If it is pneumonia, treatment will include additional oxygen support, IV antibiotics, and medications.

Beyond her illness, X-rays will give us a clearer picture of her overall health. What we do know is that her body tells a heartbreaking story. She has a misaligned front end- we suspect dislocated shoulder or deformity, severely bowed back legs, and extremely flat front feet—clear signs of a dog who has lived her life in a crate. She doesn’t appear to have ever been bred, and we doubt she’s seven years old but she is several years old for sure. So why was she locked away, suffering, until she became so sick that she was simply dumped? She didn’t run away—someone abandoned her.

It’s with hopeful yet heavy hearts that we share this update. GLADIS is doing better, but her condition is yet another devastating reminder of why we fight to end the suffering of dogs trapped in the breeding industry.

We just got the call, and we couldn’t say no. We are picking up this sweet girl right now, and she’s being rushed straight to the emergency vet. 💔

She can barely breathe. She is struggling to choose between standing, walking, breathing, or eating. No animal should have to fight this hard just to survive.

The shelter reached out for help even before her 72-hour hold was up because her condition is so severe. This is life or death.
