If you decide to bring your dog around me, here are some things you should know:

1. I might say hi to you.

2. I will ABSOLUTELY say hi to your dog.

3. I will talk in a weird, high, squeaky voice—possibly an oddly low voice if it’s a big dog. I’ll just use whatever voice I think Your dog will best understand, okay?

4. I will try not to ignore you completely, but I make no promises. I only have so much energy to give, and a large part of it is gonna go to your pet.

5. I will ask your dog if it wants to come home with me at least once. I have three kids and two dogs of my own, I promise, I have no intentions of stealing your beloved pooch. It’s just something I am obliged to ask.

6. If I say I love You, ignore me. I’m not talking to you, I’m talking to your dog.

Hi. Currently we are fostering Piper, a 5 year old German shepherd. She’s good with people and kids. Due to past trauma, she would be the only dog in her home. She’s crate trained and also great loose in the house. She’s not thriving on our working dog household amd needs her own place. Piper does know basic comands, sit, stay, heal etc. If you have any questions or know anyone looking for a good companion, let us know.

Have you ever thought about getting a big dog? Well then , Meet Piper a 5 year old female ( spayed) German Shepherd. Piper is super friend with people ( 6 years and up so far) and would make a nice active family a great pet! She knows commands like heel, sit, down, place, off, leave-it and come ( just to name a few). She is good loose in the house once she know the rules but also can be crated. Her favorite things to do is run and play one sided fetch ( keep away). Piper had some trauma with other dogs in her previous home thus making her the only pet in her future home. She is not rude to strange dogs during her walks with respectful distance.
If you would like to meet her and find out more information she will be at adoptions on Saturdays and Sundays at A path 4 Paws.
