This is Sprite aka Big Bertha. I am trying to raise money for the cost of treating her. She is veryyyyy bloated. I was told bacterial infection but I've had a few VERY experienced breeder and owners tell me she could also be gravid or retaining fluids. I want to take her to the vet and get a second opinion. She just came in yesterday like this. Her previous owner is very sweet and tried everything she could and even rehomed her to another person with more experience but they brought her back. So now she is here with us. While we appreciate any thoughts/prayers/positive vibes vets cost money. Especially exotic vets. So I'm gonna drop my venmo and cashapp on here. If you can donate ANYTHING helps and please share. We want Sprite to recover

This is Jetsam. She will be available for adoption in about 3 weeks. She's an adult wild with the best personality. I honestly wanted to keep this girl so badly but I know we need to make room for more babies in need. But whoever gets this girl is getting a total queen 🖤

Just wanted to introduce some of our permanent residents for fun. This is Skywalker! He came to us because his mama thought he was a female and housed him with her female and had an oops clutch so he had to go. He has such a big personality I just had to keep him. It was love at first sight. He's a dirty leucistic and spends most his days eating worms, watching everyone from atop his hide, and crushing on the girl next door(our girl Medusa🖤)

Requirements to adopt a 'lotl

1. You MUST send me a picture of your cycled tank. If you don't know how to cycle a tank I would be more than happy to teach❤️

2. You must read the care instructions I send before you get your new friend. You will also receive a care packet when you pick them up.

3. Small rehoming fee. That money goes back into the rescue. It's gonna get spent on distilled water and worms 😂

And remember, if at any time you decide this pet isn't for you then you can bring them back. I will even pick them up. Our main goal is just to make sure the axolotls are happy.

Welcome to our rescue. We specialize in the rescue and rehabilitation of axolotls. Basically we can take in any sick(or healthy if you've just decided this pet isn't for you) axolotls and we get them back to health and rehome them for a small fee. That fee then goes to toward supplies for the axolotls(hey, we go through a lot of distilled water and worms over here😂).

We also strive to educate others on these cool critters. Either for fun or if someone is considering one for a pet. Due to the massive amount of misinformation on how to properly care for axolotls we are seeing huge amounts of sick ones. I've seen missing limbs and gills, slime coat damage, ammonia burns, etc and we are fully equipped to take care of all of that. WE DO NOT JUDGE. Unfortunately pet stores are notorious for misinformation on their care. We just want to help❤️

If you have an axolotl that you wish to surrender please message us. We will get back to you ASAP. If you wish to adopt scroll the page. We will post the guys ready for new new waters as they become available. Just comment and I will send you a message.
