Whistle call offs for PSA. Whistle call offs for PSA. I first practice my call offs on toys because I can get more reps in as I can do it anytime and I don’t always have a decoy around. I also practice them in my pool on toys because it’s too hot outside where I live for a lot of the year and that keeps the dogs cool. They get the general idea for when the decoys are on the field. I also have them drop even a toy in their mouth if they hear the whistle as you will see on the return with toy on the security nd send. I do not want them thinking of anything in their mouth when they hear the whistle.
