Madi Findlay and Bonus are a pair to watch! Bonus, only 6 years old, had top placings in the 6-year-old hunters with trainer Judy Nielson . Madi then piloted him to Reserve Champion in the 12-14 Equitation and had some fantastic rounds in the Children’s Hunters as well. Excited to see what the future holds for this talented duo! 💫

Lauren Wallace and Finna W “Finna” were on fire last week at -nee! The pair delivered standout performances in the Jr/Am 1.20m, clinching a class win and securing the Reserve Champion title for the week. Lauren piloted Finna through a flawless round in the highly competitive 1.20m Costume Contest as 🦈 “Shark Attack,” finishing with a clean course and impressive time. Finna W is now proudly offered for sale and available for trials this week in Temecula—don’t miss your chance to try this talented mare! 🚀

✨ A Note from Head Trainer Judy Nielson ✨

I want to take a moment to congratulate Peyton Krahenbuhl on an incredible milestone in her riding career—joining Jason McArdle and McArdle Equestrian as a working student! It has been such a joy to watch Peyton grow from her early days on her pony at Aspen Hill Farm to competing in many Grands Prix and her first FEI 4-star indoors at the Las Vegas National. She was invaluable during my recovery from shoulder surgery, competing with my 6-year-old in the Young Jumpers at Desert International Horse Park and prepping horses for the other kids at the show. Her dedication, talent, and passion for the sport have been truly inspiring, and I couldn’t be prouder of all she’s accomplished.

Peyton has embraced the full scope of being a well-rounded horsewoman. She does everything required to care for her elite athletes, from grooming to clipping, and even trailering her own horses to shows. She’s the kind of student who comes out to the arena unasked when she sees me moving jumps around and works happily until the job is done.

Here’s to the future, Peyton! We’re all cheering for you as you step into this next exciting phase of your career. 💫🐴

Team Aspen Hill Farm had an outstanding week at the Blenheim International Jumping Festival!

Lily Savage and Centuro (“Churro”) shone brightly, placing in the top ribbons and securing Reserve Champion in both the Open 1.10m and Amateur 1.10m divisions. Their consistent performances were a testament to their hard work and dedication.

Alexandra Frohman and Cecilia also had a fantastic week, placing fifth in the $5,000 NAL 1.20m Junior/Amateur West Coast Jumper Finals. Alexandra showcased her versatility by competing with her other horse, Django Blue, in the highly competitive $50,000 1.45m International Jumping Festival Grand Prix on Saturday. The course was incredibly technical, with only two riders going clear, making Alexandra’s effort truly commendable.

Head Trainer, Judy Nielson, guided her own horse, Bobby Shazam, around the Six-Year-Old Young Jumpers Final Championship, as well as Bonus, owned by Madi Findlay, in the Blenheim Young Hunter Championship. These young horses have an amazing future ahead of them!

Congratulations to everyone on such a stellar week! Your dedication and hard work continue to make Aspen Hill Farm proud.

Next up, we’ll be heading to Temecula starting October 9th. Let’s keep the momentum going!

Congratulations to Alexandra Frohman on her incredible achievement yesterday at Blenheim EquiSports, successfully completing her first Grand Prix with Django Blue! At just 18, Alexandra has worked her way up the ranks at Aspen Hill Farm since she started trotting poles at age 6. Yesterday, she jumped her first 1.45m Grand Prix with style and grace.

Head trainer Judy Nielson said, “I'm so proud of Alexandra. She rode a beautiful round, and it's been incredible to watch her grow. We found this lovely horse in England just last fall, and the partnership has been very successful.” The sky is the limit, Alexandra! 🔝
