Sky is a sweet angel baby!
This 3-year-old, 82 lb girl is the perfect combination of affectionate and laid-back, always down for some cuddle time.
But don’t be fooled- she loves to play, too! Sky enjoys going to dog playgroup at the shelter. Her other favorite activities? Chasing rope toys, going for walks, and being your cuddle buddy.
Sky is already a pro at sit, shake, and down. She’s also food-motivated so teaching her more tricks would be easy.
Plus, she’s a “potty dog” at the shelter, which means she waits to go outside, so she’s likely housebroken.

Meet our sweet Mia. 🎀
She’s proven herself to be the perfect companion. She gets along with all kinds of dogs in our shelter playgroup and she enjoys the company of everyone she meets.
But we are worried about Mia. We have hundreds of dogs in our care, and Mia keeps getting overlooked by adopters because in her kennel she is stressed and scared.
When she is away from the bustle of her kennel, she loves belly rubs, cuddles, and playing with her dog friends.
One-year-old Mia is the perfect size: not too big or too small, and she would fit into all kinds of families.

Eddie is a people dog!
Eddie is a “people dog” 100%!
This 7-year-old, 78 lb lovebug is all about hugs, pets, and affection.
He’s been in and out of the shelter since May (through no fault of his own!) and is a staff and volunteer favorite.
His tail turns into a full-body wiggle when he sees humans.
He’s extremely polite around food, loves giving kisses and hugs, and enjoys exploring and running outside. You’ll know he’s asking for love when he comes up and puts his head between your knees.

Meet Buddy!
Buddy has legs that are the talk of the shelter.
They’re short, stubby, and eye-catching since they are too small for his big ‘ol head and large body.
This low-riding pup has been at the shelter since June, making friends with everyone he meets. He loves to go for car rides. He will try to climb into the front seat with you every chance he gets.
Treats and bouncy balls are the way to Buddy’s heart. He loves to chase down a ball but hasn’t quite mastered the art of fetch. He’ll run over to you and stick his big head in your lap for treats and snuggles – sometimes with the ball still in his mouth! 🤣

Asta's a Star!
We cannot figure out why Asta has been in the shelter since May. He’s pretty much perfect! 🤩
Asta will follow you everywhere, acting like your shadow, ready for any adventure. He loves to chase a ball and play tug-of-war with his favorite toys. He takes treats gently and walks like a gentleman on a leash.
Asta’s in our shelter training classes, learning new things every day. He knows basic commands, like sit, down, and paw. He knows his trainer, too. When he sees him, his whole butt starts to wiggle with excitement. His eyes light up when he sees his favorite people.
