Last night someone attempted to set our clinic and rehabilitation center on fire.
The deck and ramp, located dangerously close to our dogs, bore the brunt of it. Thankfully, a patron at a neighboring business spotted the smoke, and the NLV Fire Department arrived in under a minute. Despite the flames reaching above the eve and damaging the camera, we were extremely fortunate that only minimal smoke entered the kennels. We have reached out to neighboring businesses for their camera footage in hopes of uncovering any relevant information. Additionally, we have thoroughly reviewed all angles from our own cameras throughout the entire day.
We are haunted by the thought of what could have happened if luck hadn’t been on our side. Now, we need your support to ensure the safety of our beloved dogs and prevent any future incidents.
We need assistance with:
• Repairing damage to our deck and ramp.
• Installing gates to block access between the buildings.
• Enhancing our camera security system.
• Replacing exterior door for the south kennels.
• Raising funds for an overnight security guard.
