With the sun setting earlier in November, it can be challenging to keep dogs active. Here are a few tips to help make the most of those shorter days:
๐ถEarly Morning or Evening Walks: Plan walks around natural light if poible, but if youโre out when itโs dark, consider using reflective collars, harnees, and leashes to keep both of you visible and safe.
๐ถIndoor Exercise: On rainy or dark days, try indoor activities like fetch in a hallway, playing with tug toys, or setting up a small obstacle course.
๐ถMental Stimulation: Puzzle toys and treat-dispensing games are great for exercising your dogโs mind and can help burn energy, too!
๐ถDoggy Playdates: If poible, organize playdates at a friendโs house or indoors at a dog-friendly location. A little socializing goes a long way!

The Australian Shepherd is a medium-sized super cuddly dog breed that contrary to its name was developed in the western part of the United States. โAussieโ as commonly called came to be in the 19th century as a ranch dog bred to herd farm animals and livestock as a whole.
Just like other herding dogs in their niche, the Australian Shepherd is loyal to a fault. Their loyalty, however, doesnโt transcend to strangers as it only plays out with its owners. However, all of these qualities can be tweaked and adjusted during training especially when theyโre still young. They are really loving dogs and are great for large families.
