Meet Lucy.
8 year old pug that was surrendered yesterday with a severe disc injury that has gone untreated. Stay tuned for more information today as we have her in for a spay, major dental, and laser treatment.
Your donations yesterday for the pug that died will help us treat this sweet girl who needed rescue and got it because of this pug community of pug love. ♡
We can't wait till Lucy is feeling so much better.
Update on Baby Girl (pics in the comments). BG has been with SNPR for a couple months now and we have some updates on this spunky girl!
As you can see by the video , she enjoys bossing other pugs around even if she is a little wobbly.
She is a love bug who spends most of the time laying down next to you. She does better if she has carpet or rugs to walk on and she’d love a family who is home often. Her foster family expresses her bladder which is the easiest way to keep her from having accidents, or she is used to a diaper for when her people are away.

Special message about Pug O Rama! Go to rescuepugs.com for more details. Or message us!
Tinks needs a foster or forever home. She is a very active 4 year old pug who is 11 lbs of sassy fun. (With the way she is chewing her teether toys, I'd guess she is much younger than 4) She is adorable. She wants to be a homes alpha female but would do well with a playful male pug who will let her be the boss. She is adorable. Will make anyone who adopts her one lucky family. Apply at www.rescuepugs.com
How cute is this video of Frankie is playing? This little boy has come such a long way!
Look at Frankie go! We switched meds and his pain seems much better. He's learning people can be good and loves treats. We are happy with his progress so far.
Missi update:
She needs a lot of good thoughts, she has been neglected for so long, it will take us awhile to sort everything out. We have the best vet in town (thanks Dr. B and Pet Health!) doing their best to help her get better. Here's what we know so far. She has a large corneal ulcer in her right eye. We're starting her on antibiotic drops right away, along with some anti-inflammatories.
Her bloodwork is the most concerning. She has low albumin, which could be
from poor care and diet (but this would be an extreme scenario), or other more serious issues such as kidney issues, gi tract, liver disease, etc.
She's anemic, which could be from her pregnancy. Her white blood cell
levels are extremely high (100,0000+). Some of the causes could be a systemic inflammatory disorder, such an immune disease affecting everything, or pyometra. She is eating well and is getting around at our
vet's office, although she has a very stiff gait, as you can see by the video we attached.
Our next step is for more testing to see what we can figure out and go from there. We hope we can fix her problems, because she deserves a lot better than the life she has had so far. It's very sad to all of us that a pug
this young has so many things wrong with her when she should be enjoying being a puppy.
Guess who is zooming around the park in his new custom wheels? That's right, it's Vito! Thank you to all who donated. :)
